I'm using the Elvid Hyper-Thin 4K cable with a canon R3 to feed the signal to a 10" Elvid monitor. Since the R3 has a micro HDMI, it's very fragile. A standard gauge cable always has that unwanted resistance, especially when I have to swivel the monitor. It's now much more manageable. This cable for being thin, is exactly what I need. A 4K external monitor and a few devices hooked into this docking station, it connects to and charges my Dell xps 15 via a thunderbolt port seamlessly. Less cables and hassle. Time to time I switch to use with my work Surface laptop and everything works fine as it should while charging. Leave the adapters in the bag. So far so good. 5 |
