At first I thought my 17 Alienware laptop won't fit because there was a slot for it however it fits on top of the cut out slot for a 15 laptop and there is alot more room for other things like iPad,iPhone,iPod,many more devices plus the power cord and it seals tight and nothing will ever get in! 5 |

I was looking for a solid state memory for my storage on a new Alienware R15. The transfer speeds from SSD to SSD were amazing at ~900MBs when moving my data from an old machine. I have had nothing but excellent results from WD drives and expect this one to last. Very pleased with the performance, the heatsink was required, and the LED is just a nice extra. 5 |

My Alienware only has one Thunderbolt port and with lots of SSD's moving data was a real pain. Wow, now I have 3 Thunderbolt ports and I've had three SSD's connected with no issues. I can even edit with files going through the hub to an SSD. One thing I noticed on day 1 was that the hub runs very hot so I bought some heat sinks from Amazon which made a world of difference. Super nice to have more ports. 5 |
