This HDD is quiet, fast(for a spinning platter drive) and has allowed me to accommodate my ever growing library of photos. I reside in Australia and decided to purchase this drive from B&H for several reasons: - it was about $100 cheaper even accounting for the exchange rate and postage than purchasing it in Australia! - WD offered me the same 5 year warranty by purchasing it from the US as I would ve got from buying in Australia and I got the exceptional customer service and quick delivery that has been the hallmark of B&H for a long time! Additionally, I might add - I was initially concerned about purchasing a platter HDD from overseas and having the possibility of it being damaged in transit due to its delicate nature. My fears were allayed by the reassurance I received from B&H about it being covered by their warranty should that happen and when it did arrive it was very securely packed such that the likelihood of that occurring was very slim! Can confirm this fits the Alienware 3821W ultrawide curved. Snaps in exactly like the provided stand does. Depending on your choice of Chief / Kontour arm, the arm's 100x100 VESA plate also QD's into the end of the arm, so it might not really have been necessary. But it makes the assembly look a lot more complete. One wish is that it was more matte black than shiny, but that's immaterial because the arm's plate (I got the K1C reduced column height) is sort of a sparkly-powder-coat silvery and covers this nearly 100% anyway. So ... never mind. 5 stars after all. Doesn't have the fancy LED lights of the provided stand...might try and see if I can finagle my own connection and LED strip down the arm to the back of the monitor. (But probably not - too much effort...)

At first I thought my 17 Alienware laptop won't fit because there was a slot for it however it fits on top of the cut out slot for a 15 laptop and there is alot more room for other things like iPad,iPhone,iPod,many more devices plus the power cord and it seals tight and nothing will ever get in!

The Mobile Edge Alienware Vindicator Backpack for 18 Laptop & Gear is everything other reviews said it would be. I did not really want a backpack, I wanted a briefcase style bag, but I cannot seam to find any at good price point with good features that fir the mammoth ROGs. Alienware knocks it out of the park with the Vindicator Series. I want to let you know the actual size of the ASUS ROG G75VW-DS72 laptop. 16.34 x 12.6 x 2.047 thick with a 17.3 diag. screen. All the measurements are exact from the manufacture, verified with a tape measure and tight to the body. The one thing the manufactures do not take into consideration is that the bezels are all different thicknesses, newer laptops are much thinner than their older counterparts, therefor using the screen size as a determining factor is not possible for large format laptops. I took a chance on someone else's review that their ROG laptop fit with room to spare. Look at my pictures and you will actually see it fitting with a little room to spare on the sides and plenty on top. Hope this helps the next person.

I got this portable hard drive to pair with my Alienware laptop the store my photos on the go. It is good and rugged. 2T capacity is ideal for use on the field. Cameras shoot big RAW files nowadays. Just what I wanted an External drive to do.
