Alienware Laptop Started Beeping After Restart

Help protect my sons Alienware Laptop

My APC LS700 started beeping and I figured out quickly the Battery Cartridge needed replacement. Finding the replacement on the APC website was easy and purchasing it was 'Painless'. Knowing I was getting the exact replacement to power the LS700 was great- I've read reviews where people thought they'd save some pennies by buying a 'Compatible Battery' only to have headaches from it not working. When my APC backup unit started beeping it was time to replace the battery, since I didnt need a bigger unit, I ordered a new battery on line, selection was fast and processed in a very short time. Battery arrived within a week and install was simple and fast, new battery is great so far. Even was able to return old battery for rechycleing with the package prepaid. APC Rocks!

So my old APC Back-Up/Surge Protector started beeping and shutting down randomly. I upgraded from an older BM card to the Intensity. I put it it, started the computer, it prompted me to do a restart to update the software, I restarted and it worked great. Easy.

After a remodeling project at our usual venue we started picking up loud hum between the laptop and the mixer. Switching laptops, mixers, and cables changed nothing. Interposing the PHE300 between the laptop and mixer vanquished the annoying hum.

After the initial install on my Cox service I needed to restart the modem weekly, then I had problems getting things to load on my TV. But after calling Cox about my concerns they did a remote update and it's been working fine ever since!
