Alienware Monitor Not Displaying

I was thinking of getting myself an Ultra wide gaming monitor but always thought the 49" G9 was too big that's when Samsung released this with the same panel as in the Alienware OLED monitor that is getting rave reviews. The difference between this and the Alienware monitor is that this one comes with Samsung OS and is easy to connect to my other Samsung ecosystem products. This monitor is perfect to run Dex on or even can be used as a TV. The OLED panel is brilliant and the movies and games pop on it.

This arm is amazing! I purchased two different ones before this to support my new Alienware OLED monitor. Those arms could not support the weight even on the highest tension. This arm at half tension easily supports the weight. You can tell this one is made with a higher quality than any off brand product.

Comparing this to the Alienware AW3225QF (which I tested for 3 weeks before getting this monitor), I find the colors are effectively the same after you find the right settings that appeal to you. I initially had some text clarity issues, but this was solved by running the monitor at 240Hz. For whatever reason, a bunch of features are turned off by default, so you need to turn them on (e.g. OLEDcare, VRR, CEC). Another thing to keep in mind - when you switch to full-screen and back, the monitor will black out for a few seconds. This is normal and a function of Nvidia drivers, not the monitor. Another caveat, as this is OLED, you cannot calibrate this with standard monitor calibration gear (think SpyderX). After turning everything on and playing with all the presets, I was able to find the ones I liked for different media. The monitor is amazing. Great color, perfect blacks, I almost think it's blacker than my black monitor bezels... 240Hz is buttery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 34” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor replaced my Alienware 29 inch monitor, and I'm so glad that I did. The 34" G5 Odyssey has Deeper blacks and crisper picture than my old Alienware 25 gaming monitor. My games have never looked so good as on the 34"G5.

Excellent Monitor. I upgraded from an Alienware 240hz 1080p to this one. Got recommended by Hardware Unbox on YouTube. This is my first 1440p monitor. Resolution is crisp. no dead pixels. and gotta love that IPS color quality. Great so far. Would recommend.

I do a lot of fine art printing and needed a monitor that was capable of displaying 100% Adobe RGB. The monitor hardware self-calibrates to a variety of color spaces, and allows the luminance to be adjusted separately while maintaining the calibration. HP's elite workstation group handles the support for this monitor and they are a notch above! Add the white glove 3-year overnight swap out warranty for DreamColor monitors and I couldn't have asked for more!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has been perfect for working from home and displaying the programs I use, the wide field allows me to have multiple windows displayed and still allows me to have them at a reasonable size to view them. The display is perfect definition wise and lightening . I’ve had it for about four months now and it’s definitely been worth the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a web-developer, and I'm using huge 42in monitor as my main one. And I need additional one for IDE (displaying code). I found vertical 28in 16:9 too small, and additional 42in 16:9 too big. For some time I was using two 22in FullHD monitors stacked on top of each other, and found that screen space perfect for me, but I hated having bezel between monitors. I was looking for 16:18 screen long before, and now, thanks to LG, it's actually available! Moreover, it has perfect size (height) to match my 42in monitor (see photo). Build-in mount arm makes it easier to install monitor as a second one, and not being afraid that it can fall while standing on the edge of the desk. Plus you can easily wipe desktop under it. I think this aspect ratio is perfect for coding and IDEs (I can split workspace into 4 sections (have 4 files open simultaneously), and have tall/huge work files tree to navigate. Screen quality is perfect, although I'm using mainly for displaying text. No dead pixels spotted. The main downside is price. I wish LG extend it's lineup of 16:18 monitors to have more simple ones. I'm not using USB-C connection for laptop, and probably 1920x2160 resolution will be more suitable for my tasks. But anyways, I do recommend this format for anyone who is looking to extend their workspace!

This screen has so many uses, first of all I use it as an extension monitor for my desktop and is great for displaying any extra documents or websites I may need open. I also use it as a laptop extension monitor for when I'm on the go. Finally with the magnets I am even able to attach it to my refrigerator!!! to use for recipes or entertainment while cooking. I just have to bring my Samsung galaxy phone and hook it up to use Dex along with a portable battery pack. This screen is seriously awesome!!!
