Can confirm this fits the Alienware 3821W ultrawide curved. Snaps in exactly like the provided stand does. Depending on your choice of Chief / Kontour arm, the arm's 100x100 VESA plate also QD's into the end of the arm, so it might not really have been necessary. But it makes the assembly look a lot more complete. One wish is that it was more matte black than shiny, but that's immaterial because the arm's plate (I got the K1C reduced column height) is sort of a sparkly-powder-coat silvery and covers this nearly 100% anyway. So ... never mind. 5 stars after all. Doesn't have the fancy LED lights of the provided stand...might try and see if I can finagle my own connection and LED strip down the arm to the back of the monitor. (But probably not - too much effort...) 5 |
