Alienware Vs Dell Gaming Monitor

I never had a Dell Alienware keyboard, but this one has surprised me how sturdy and well built is. I am really enjoying it, specially for gaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 34” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor replaced my Alienware 29 inch monitor, and I'm so glad that I did. The 34" G5 Odyssey has Deeper blacks and crisper picture than my old Alienware 25 gaming monitor. My games have never looked so good as on the 34"G5.

That's right, this adapter allows you to connect your Dell Alienware 17 computer (Thunderbolt 3 adapter) to an Apple 27 Thunderbolt display...and it WORKS!!! I searched all over for something that would work, and this works...no kidding. The cheapo brands out there will NOT work, trust me I checked them all out. This was used to replace my wife's 27 Dell gaming monitor which performed fantastic, but died with vertical lines starting and growing to be worse and worse. She is not a gamer, but the color is great with this IPS monitor, and it does not have glare issues like most monitors do these days. I swear that whoever builds this unit also builds the Dell she had before - they both seem very similar.

This monitor really is something else. I'm upgrading from a pretty budget Dell gaming monitor, same 27 size, but every other spec is a huge upgrade. The colors are vibrant, it responds insanely fast, and the framerate and clarity of motion is completely unmatched on the market currently. Coming from a 1080p monitor, the pixel density has far surpassed my previous experience. Additionally, the monitor has a lot of tools to help you get a long life out of it as well that prevent burn-in. The monitor is fantastic for the form factor. I won’t say that it’s perfect. I’m still getting used to the glossy finish of the screen. It sometimes takes a few seconds to alt-tab out of a game. Still, the monitor is the best thing I’ve laid my eyes on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to use. I highly recommend it!

Honestly i have to give it to dell, it’s an excellent product. You can feel the quality in this one. It works perfectly with my Alienware area 51m r2z I only have two comments: 1. It’s a big bad so be expecting that when you get it and 2. If you buy it for your Alienware area 51m r2 the charger case that comes with this bad is too small so make sure you get something better if you care about the way you keep your cables managed. Excellent product! It’s a must buy for anyone with an Alienware!

I use it for Photoshop, premiere, and VR gaming. It's beautifully fast and precise. I use it on my Alienware m51. (I don't know how well it would function in older computers--it might be too much mouse power for some machines).

I installed in my gaming desktop (Alienware Aurora) and it works beautifully. no hang ups, burn quickly with quality.

Hard to beat a good ViewSonic monitor. This might be the best value at 1080P 165hz! If it's anything like my past VS monitors, it'll last you 10+ years!
