Alkaline Vs Rechargeable Nimh Batteries For Controller

I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far I am extremely happy. I adopted the camera equipment and duties at my company and the previous guy was using alkaline AA batteries in a Nikon SB-800 flash. After burning through 20 or so alkaline batteries in a weekend, (and messing up a bunch of important shots with the flash not firing) I decided to upgrade to the Pearstone charger with 16 Pearstone NiMH rechargable batteries. Huge difference, the flash fires every time and I can always make sure I have a bunch of full batteries on hand for maximum performance. The charger removes the guess work, so I don't have a bunch of half used batteries that are too drained for a decent flash recycle time. I couldn't recommend the charger or batteries more. The NiMH batteries also seem to last 10 times longer than alkaline ones.

These are fantastic and inexpensive for holding all your flash batteries, used or new. NiMH or Alkaline. Keeping them from touching each other. Reversing them when used. 9 I bought AA holders Come in a AAA and 9V version too.

Finally a battery tester that will read NIMH batteries, along with Alkaline, Lithium and 9Volt. The pulse load gives a more accurate reading of what battery to use in a portable flash unit. Very easy to use and packs in easily when in the field.

This works super well with the Panasonic eneloop pro AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries (1.2V, 2550mAh) that we bought. We haven't had any issues are happy with its performance. So glad we made the transition to rechargeable batteries and this charging station. We are going to save a lot of money by not buying dozens of AA batteries per month now!

Once again, I received a great service from B&H. I have been using Panasonic rechargeable NiMh batteries for many years (mainly for my Nikon SB900 flashes) and they never disappointed me. It does take a while to fully charge the batteries (usually over night) but it give me plenty power for my big Nikon flashes with very short loading time between shoots.

Finally, I found original (not copies) rechargeable batteries for my opthalmo-scopy ! Now the halogen light of my fundo-scopy shining with same intensity as that when my medical instrument was working with it's original 3 volts rechargeable battery ! I'm already modified my opthalmo-scopy to be worked with 2 alkaline batteries of C size. I was searching for original NiMH C batteries many years ago, but without hope - all were copies not original. But, now, I can use these original NiMH C batteries for that - much better & more economy solution. More importantly, optic disc & retina of my patients now appearing clearer than before. Thank you B&H for offering these original NiMH for international buyers over seas like me.

Very pleased with Watson's 4AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. The charger is well built, and the batteries so far are holding up well over time. Easy to pack in a bag.

This charger can charge up to eight rechargeable batteries. It can also discharge them first, if you want, but I don't think that's at all necessary with NiMH batteries. A small display panel below each battery shows the discharge/charge state of the battery in that slot.

I was going though a lot of batteries until I bought the rechargeable AA NIMH batteries. Now I just keep recharging and saving a lot of money.

I have been using Watson MX AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries in my Canon 600 EX-RT II Speedlite for a couple of years now. They seem to last longer and hold full charge longer than other brands I have used in the past.
