The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do. About 6 months ago I bought the Comica Boom XD system as it supported two transmitters and the originally Rode Wireless Go did not. The Comica is not bad but has interference issues that I cannot seem to get past. The few events I have done with it were hit or miss where I had drops or buzzing interference on some of my other microphones if they were too close to the receiver. When the Rode Wireless Go II came out, and I saw it had improved range and on transmitter recording, and I jump on it. The audio quality is good. Get yourself a good lav if you want to improve that. The range is excellent though. And I like the fact that they made the devices upgradable. Two weeks ago they came out with a firmware upgrade that starts recording on the Transmitters as soon as you turn them on. So now you can use the transmitters as a makeshift field recorder as well. Overall, I am very impressed with the WGII for the price. It's a nice, compact tool that I just carry with me all the time now. 5 |

I can't find anything not to like about this charger. And through the years, I've had many, many different models. About the only improvement would be if it accepted 12VDC sources like a cigarette lighter. It comes with an 18V adapter. 5 |
