I had a computer issue that I needed to format my HDD so I need a quick and convenient way to copy my files so when I reloaded my programs and would have my documents, pictures, etc. Great flash drive for that type of work and also transferring files from one computer to another. I store 90% of my files on external drives USB-A. When I upgraded my computer it only has Thunderbolt connections. I had an adapter that could hold three drives. I had to continually mount/unmount/change drive, repeat. Try searching for photos or overlay files that way. Now all my drives are plugged in at once and I have full access and live redundancy without changing out a drive. Absolutely love it! 5 |

I use the product to transfer large files from one computer to another in different apartments. The WD external 1TB USB 3.0 transfers the files much quicker from some of my older USB ports which are 2.0. The external drive comes in a case, which is very good for protecting it since, I carry it in my purse at all times. It does the job and I am very happy with the product. 5 |

This drive provides compact external storage for my Mac. I have three of them--two copies of files that I don't keep on my computer, and one for Time Machine. The oldest one I have is now two years old and hasn't skipped a beat, so I am happy with their reliability. These drives are a good value and provide the additional storage that I need. Transfer speeds are good, though I wouldn't edit video from them or anything like that. 5 |
