All Day Recording Wireless Security Camera

2/3 of a stop is a good value for my needs. the full stop was too much and 1/3 not enough at all.

When filming on location for more than a day, we deploy these for security. Wireless security cams' trigger times were glacially slow, so we changed to IP cams and a NVR. The ethernet cables are strung so nobody will trip over them and run to the NVR to the tent where the security guy is posted. After the shoot, the cameras, cables and NVR go into a Pelican case and wait for the next location job.

Have used Seagate for several years with no problems in NVR's for security camera recording. Highly recommend.

I installed 3 large disks, 2 x 18 TB and 1 x 24 TB, for use 24/7 recording security camera footage. Connected via USB-C to a new computer with an Intel i7-14700 CPU. Each disk is recording 4-5 MB per second.  Disk installation was easy. No noticeable fan noise. No need or desire for any RAID setup - running as JBODs. Wanted 5 bays for future expansion. No problems or hiccups so far.

I'm using the StudioRAID in a RAID 1 configuration recording security camera videos on a Windows PC. Setup was easy. It's recording multiple cameras 24x7 so it works hard and performs well. I like that there is no power brick. My only complaint is that it is noisy. It's the hard drives, not the fan. I've noticed this with other Glyph arrays. Usually it's not a problem as they are a server room or space that is already noisy.

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick.

It just needs about 2 hours of sunlight for solar charging to last the whole day. The 16gb internal memory is more than enough for storage. You do not need to pay for any subscription to use this nifty little sophisticated security system. Integrates with both Google and Alexa for two way audio. Overall you just need to get this for your home and personal security!!!

Camera came ... and I had it out recording that day. The multi video/still picture function is a huge plus for me and quality is amazing.

We were super happy with our single Rode Wireless mic that I use with my camera for recording sermons. Imagine our delight at the microphone and RECORDER for two people!
