I needed a larger printing frame, fast, for a cyanotype project I'm working on. The sheet of plate glass and foam pad I was using didn't create enough pressure for a sharp contact print. I'm glad I found this frame! I was pleased with the price and relieved it was in stock. It arrived the next day and didn't need any alteration before I started using it. I'm not an expert on glass composition, but the glass provided with the frame is clear (as expected) and cyanotypes expose at a speed comparable to times I get with a sheet of low iron glass I have in a smaller frame. The rubber feet are a welcome addition that makes it easier to pick up this substantial frame. It creates plenty of pressure to keep the negative in contact with a sheet of sumi-e paper (which can be slightly wavy) and yields sharp prints. 5 |

Very strong even for a Full Frame DSLR with a 70-200. Releasing and tightening do not require much pressure. Great Value 5 |

I use it outdoors... I mean way outdoors (mountains). I was shooting some actors way up in the mountains, so I packed the aluminum frame, the silver reflector fabric and this translucent one. It's super light weight (a plus when hiking 20 miles) and durable. 5 |

This is a great product. It is solidly constructed with an aluminum frame, and is only about 3/4 inch thick. The light has 4 light settings and is evenly lit across the panel. The top is plexiglass (Lexan?) so doesn't scratch easily. I can get a whole sheet of 20 slides, or 24 individual slides on it. Perfect companion for my Vello NSD-35 slide digitizer kit. 5 |
