Everything about this filter is first class. I know it is branded as a "basic" filter but honestly this is the filter brand all black and white contrast filters are measured by. And I know what most people are thinking. Why can't I just use software to get the same effective sky or other effect using a digital filter. You can, but a digital filter won't ever remove the UV haze or sharpen a lens by removing the blue content out of the lens. Honestly, the only time I would ever need to use a digital filter instead is for a creative option. I can shoot one frame with and one frame without if I need that option for creativity. I have plans to buy the red and deep red as well. Along with the hollywood black magic 1/4 and 1/2 filters. Schneider and their B+W brand is excellent beyond expectations. Top German filter quality. As a digital photo frame, it's awesome. It let's you display pictures that would not necessarily merit printing and framing. Minor downside is manually cropping photos for the 16:9 aspect ratio does not suit all pictures.. For anybody else ordering from overseas, the 12V power adaptor is 110V only in the US version I received. You'll need a 220-110 step-down transformer or simply replace it with something sourced locally.

This is by far the best digital photo frame I've ever seen. It literally couldn't be any better. The images look brighter, sharper and more alive than the best prints from the most expensive processing labs. I love the feature that allows family members to share photos automatically to my frame from wherever they are. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Just a fantastic product.

The digital photo frame was perfect for our need. We will be using it to exhibit on our missions board all the missionaries that the church supports on a monthly basis. Its a great visual device. Thank you.

I’ve had many digital frames, this is the best frame so far!

While this is an inexpensive frame, it just works. The thin black line that surrounds your print helps to define and draw your eye into the print. It is easy to install your print; simply tweak the frame on opposite corners and the glass pops up. You can insert your photo from the front side and replace the glass by slightly tweaking the frame and gently pressing down on the glass. There are mounting brackets on the back for both portrait and landscape orientations. A single nail is all you need to hang your framed photo. The nice thing about the 8x12 frame is that it matches your DSLR's aspect ratio, so no cropping to an 8x10! (Note: The glass is not museum quality, but it is fine for locations where fading and specular reflections are not an issue.)
