Amazon Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter

I bought Waves NX Head Tracker to use it with Logic Pro X in a Mac Pro Mid 2010 OS El Capitan and Bluetooth 2.1 I needed Bluetooth 4.0, so I bought this StarTech adapter. Plugged into my computer, but it was not recognized as BT 4.0. Then I downloaded Hardware_IO_Tools_for_Xcode_7.3.dmg, and installed Bluetooth Explorer in the Applications folder. Opened it, Tools menu and choose HCI Controller Selector, I clicked at the arrows and selected Broadcom Corp and clicked Activate. Done My computer recognized the StarTech adapter as Bluetooth 4, and I was able to use my excellent Waves NX Head Tracker.

Mini USB Bluetooth® 4.0 Adapter is a fantastic product! Better working range than other Bluetooth receivers/transmitters. Works great with Sony MDR-10R after checking ALL of the configuration for USBBT1EDR4. You MUST install ONLY the last version of the CSR Harmony software; if you have an older version installed, you MUST uninstall the older version first. The new version unfortunately does not include drivers for all of the older transmitters and you can't have more than one version installed at the same time. I highly recommend this product.

I was in the market for a new splashproof Bluetooth speaker after my not so old amazon tap died. I first purchased a $40 speaker. Suffice it to say that I once again learned the old adage “you get what you pay for”. It was not easy to connect to or operate (surprisingly so). Worse, it had no base sound. So after a few weeks of shopping and internal debate, I went with the brand. I am so thrilled I did. This is a perfect little speaker. Sounds great; even outdoors it can really produce good sound. It also is SUPER easy to hook up to. Two thumbs up from me!

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

Very useful adapter for laptop w/o Bluetooth. Easy to install, and works great.

I bought this on amazon for my Mac computer running El Capitan. It worked flawlessly. Much better than expected. NOTE: If you already have an older bluetooth adapter inside your Mac, be sure to disconnect it so macOS only sees the StarTech adapter and it will work like a charm.

I bought four different step up lens attachments through amazon and ebay. I spent the extra 15 bucks to get the adapter through B&H and it was the ONLY adapter that would fit my new JVC Camera. Should have stopped at B&H first and not wasted my time and money on cheap knock offs.

Works with my iPad mini gen 6, with an amazon USB A to C adapter. Comes with a nice cable with a choke in it, bet one must use that one. Not hi-fi but no distortion. for travel, I'll take it!

I purchased an adapter from Amazon that worked for a bit but then stopped because of the cheap quality. This adapter is high quality and has worked flawlessly along with a Toshiba WiFi card to add WiFi capability to my camera. It's great to see a picture you have just taken on a large screen using your smart phone, a table, or your computer. Highly recommended.

Needed a new adapter for my AC pro AP, went to amazon first, and they sent me a dud and almost 3 times the cost of the one here. This one may have ataken a bit longer to get here, but it was well worth the wait, no fluctuations, hiccups, or shutdowns. Solid and strong, perfect for what I needed it for.
