My wifi speed for this AP is currently limited by my powerline network adapter. But this is handeling my full gig internet over wifi when not on the powerline adapter. The ring light on this is a tad brighter than my last unifi AP though. I don't think I can turn that down.

I'm using this with my older Macbook pro that does not have USB-C or ethernet ports. I just plugged this adapter in my USB-A port and it worked right away. The computer saw it and connected to my network without any issues. This will come in super handy when I need the fastest signal possible. Or if the wireless connection is spotty. I did a speed test with this adapter connected and I was getting over 500 mbps upload and download speeds on my work network connection, which is as fast as I can expect to get. I'm using this with my Macbook Air that only has USB-C ports and no ethernet port. This adapter worked right out of the box to give me an ethernet connection. Just plugged the ethernet cable in to the adapter, connected the adapter to the CPU's USB-C port, and my computer connected to my work network flawlessly. The wifi at my work is not great, so this adapter is giving me a fast network connection now through ethernet. I did a speed test and I'm getting approximately 500mbps upload/download speeds with this adapter, which is fantastic. I also appreciate that the adapter has LED indicators. One light shows there is a connection (green). The middle light shows there is power (White/blue). And the 3rd light blinks orange to show there is activity. Having these lights could come in handy if I need to trouble shoot, which is very helpful. The build quality is also really good. This feels like it will last a long time. The cable seems sturdy and the ethernet cable plugs in securely into the adapter's port. Overall, I'm happy with this adapter and it is working very well. The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building.

MoCA is the way to go if you don't have an ethernet wired house. I've tried Powerline ethernet and although it was decent, it was not stable. Other connected appliances add noise to the electric signal. With MoCA, the signal is stable and FAST. One thing you have to get is a PoE filter. You need to add it to the coaxial coming into the house. I added it where it came in at the utility closet. Once on, the MoCA signal has been perfect.

I works very well with my wine refrigerator and also has outlet for my ethernet cable to make everything seamless.

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

Home wifi network not strong enough for main floor use. By using this NETGEAR PowerLINE product problem was easily solved. Works great!
