I love that they can be powered by PoE, are fully managed, and adopt into the UniFi ecosystem. I have 4 of them on my network now. Great when you need 2 or 3 drops in a bedroom, but only have 1 CAT cable going there. Kids room, no problem... lock all the ports to the kids VLAN and they can plug in whatever they want... you've got complete control at a terrific price! 5 |

I had ordered a telescoping light stand with attached adjustable clamp for my desktop from Amazon. While it was serviceable, I was never completely pleased with it. The cheap clamp never tightened down to the desk shelf securely and the whole assembly wobbled and moved when I attached my Dracast 18 inch ring light on top of it. This clamp (in conjunction with a Matthews Telescopic Baby Stand Extension) completely solved my issues and replaced the Amazon product. The clamp attaches to my desktop shelf with a vice-like grip. The Matthews Telescopic Baby Stand Extension in turn attaches firmly to the clamp for a rock-solid solution. There is absolutely no wobble or movement when I attach the ring light to the top of the extension. I have complete confidence in this worry-free set up and would highly recommend it. 5 |
