Bought two of these for the kids, they like them a lot. They had Amazon Tablet 8 series before, which were terribly slow. These are nice, fluid, and look sharp. Handles kids games nicely. I bought some off-brand apple pencils to accompany these and they work great.

I was looking for a personal cloud so that my kids' pictures wouldn't end up on Google, Amazon, Facebook, or Apple servers, and was worried this would be too advanced for me. But it didn't take much YouTube to be able to use great features this provides. And I feel like the more I learn, the more I will be able to use it. All in all, great purchase for home backup and personal cloud usage for us! Also, love the Moments app for pictures!

I have used the Amazon Fire Stick, Matricom G-Box Q and Roku 3 for a while. I had been thinking about getting the NVidia Shield TV for a while and finally decided to get it when the new version with Amazon and the smaller footprint was released. I have played with it for about 2 weeks and I have to say that this is the most powerful box I have used as far as Android TV is concerned. I have SlingTV, YouTube, Amazon Video, Plex and Kodi apps that I use most often. I do have a 32GB usb stick connected to save apps and data there since I have the 16GB model. That works but apps do take a little longer to start from the USB. I did install a few games that the kids enjoy playing and they work great. Some games do crash every now and then such as Hungry Shark but not all. The included remote and came controller are easy to use and get used to. This box makes using Android TV enjoyable whereas others promise performance that diminishes quickly over time. I would highly recommend this box to anyone who doesn't mind spending $200 and values performance and quality of cost. This box replaced a Roku, G-Box and Chromecast for me and I don't have to buy a separate gaming console for the kids, at least for a little while.

I purchased two Fives to use in my small home office. Streaming is through Amazon Music HD and I also use the line-in from my computer to watch online videos. Music was a big part of my life many years ago back in the 1970s and 80s. Then life got busy and music kinda went to the wayside. My wife also thought we could make better use of the space that was taken up by my large stereo system. So the Bose 601 series IV speakers, NAD stack, Dual 1229 turntable, and Teac CD player went into storage. I've listened to many songs through Amazon Music HD from my music era and think they sound great on the Fives. The convenience of high quality streaming can't be beat. It would be tough to go back to flipping vinyl again or using CDs. Although, I may fire up the old system someday just for old time sake and do a sound comparison. I'm no longer interested in listening to "loud and time to party like a rockstar" music. The Fives can certainly put out that type of power if that is your thing. I'm more interested in hearing the minor details and nuances within the music. The Fives do not disappoint in this area...especially after running Trueplay. Some recommended songs to highlight the Five's capabilities are: Guinnevere by Crosby, Stills & Nash; Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes by Paul Simon; Barcelona Nights by Ottmar Liebert; and Peel me a Grape by Diana Krall. I'm very happy with the Fives and will be adding additional components going forward. Next purchase will most likely be another Five and then upgrade the sound on my 65" Sony TV. Thank you Sonos for bringing high-quality music back into my life.

Use this on my LG 65" tv also to stream my Amazon hd music. Use Spotify as well. A really good buy. Gerry.

I bought the Razor HD 12x50s and the 10x50s to use while hunting with my kids. I have loaned them to my nephews and a couple of other people that needed glass to take their kids out hunting. I hunt in Arizona and glassing off a tripod is the only way to hunt. Putting my kids behind glass keeps them in the hunt from the start to the end. It ended them being bored while the adults look for deer/javilina/elk. It also ended me being worried that they might drop/bang/scratch them. Anxious dad no more.

I was researching which HD camera to get for filming my kids, as well as our upcoming Disney trip. I was very concerned with low light quality, and after trying a few others, to include the Sony XR160, I was just not happy with their low light performance. After reading the reviews I took the jump on this Camcorder and its quality in low light is stunning, it shows better color and detail than I can see on my dimly lit street, truly something you need to see. I only wish the optical zoom was better, and that they would add back buttons to navigate the menu instead of the cramped touchscreen LCD.

With this adapter, I can connect a powered USB hub to my tablet. This allows me to use my card reader and external HD with my tablet to back up photos while traveling.
