I run the play:5 via the iPhone app, it works very well and I can stream the whole music catalogue on my phone and via Amazon Music. The sound is fantastic and after about 6 weeks of owning it, I'm yet to dare to try it at max volume. It's quite astonishing really.

I purchased this item on Amazon, but couldn't figure out how to charge my iPhone wirelessly. After research and an email to support, I finally realized there's a certain area on the top of the device that requires placement otherwise it will not work. You cannot slide the phone around...it has to be place there. Now I love the device.

A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain!

I currently have two other versions of this Lav.  This is a unique addition to those.  I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack!  Works great for memo recording and also live streaming.  I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio.  The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far.  Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!   [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

With either a SC6 (Rode Cable) and SC7 (Rode Adapter) I was able to connect my headphone and VideoMicro Compact to my Iphone 6s+. Much more mobile and ready to do what I need to do.

I use this with my iPhone to photograph engraved stamps. With the iPhone fixed on a makeshift stand and using a headphone volume control to release the shutter, the lighted 5x LumiLoupe enables a remarkably sharp and detailed photo. I use the photo to do a much magnified, side-by-side comparison with reference material.
