Amazon Kindle Tablet 1St Gen Android 7

Go 6 is based on Android, so you can download any app from the Google Play Store. If you want to read e-books from foreign bookstores or sources other than Amazon, it’s a good option. However, if you only use Kindle, it's better to buy a Kindle because it's much faster. But, Kindle can only read Kindle books. Personally, I’m happy with the Go 6 since I use Korean e-book apps. The downside is the limited RAM. With just 2GB, even with an Octa-Core CPU, it can't fully utilize its performance. This results in slower speeds compared to devices with more RAM. Nevertheless, considering its lower price compared to the POKE 5 and slightly better specs, it's currently the best value for money. 5 |

I have an older Kindle I use for reading only, and a Kindle Fire I use as a tablet. I can carry both in this case with ease. 5 |

This device is like a kindle without the locked garden of Amazon… you can still get the kindle app and buy kindle books, but you can use any other provider, in any other language…. I use it to read books in Hebrew from e-vrit and it works like a charm. Really happy with this device! Build quality feels great, battery lasts a long time (goes down about 1% for every hour I read, and pretty much stays forever when in sleep mode) 5 |

The screen size and quality is great and a similar size as my old Gen-1 Kindle Paperwhite. The Google Store works great on the device. Tons of settings to tinker with. The only negative is the battery drains pretty fast with Wi-fi turned on. I’d definitely recommend if you want a smaller device. 5 |

Makes much more sense than the 1st gen with the goofy charge port. 5 |

I bought two of these. Lots of compartments. Holds a Tablet, a kindle. Room for a phone, keys, some pens and a book. 5 |

This is almost exactly the E-ink tablet I always wanted. very pocketable, great screen, feels solid (no creaking). Why get a Kindle or Kobo to read books on when you can have all the E-Reader apps in one device? read something interesting and want to email or post to FB to a friend? Yep! This is an Android tablet so all that can be done too. I used to think reading on a regular tablet or phone didn't bother my sleep, but I now actually think it keeps you awake even if you are tired. I like to read before going to sleep and this e-reader/tablet will allow me to fall asleep as way in the past a regular book did. Of course all the Kindles I had would do the same, but if I wanted to email something from the book I was reading I would have to switch to a regular tablet or phone and that would wake me up again. Just think of of this device as e-reader of your choice (Nook, Kindle, Kobo) that can double as tablet in a pinch. 5 |
