I bought this light to take pictures of cats, as I've had poor results using flash (blinking, red-eye) and cats won't always go and sit in pools of sunshine when you ask them to. This light works well and the included accessories provide a lot of value. I'm using it on a tripod rather than on-camera. 5 |

After using the Polysteel for about a week now, I'm blown away at this flashlight! I am a tractor-trailer driver who runs mostly at night, and the Polysteel 700 is perfect for it. First, the super strong magnet in the tail cap allows me to place the flashlight in various places to pre-trip my equipment in the dark. The very bright area light strips allow me to do things like check the oil and crawl up under trailers hands free. The red area light allows me to look at things in the cab without losing my night vision, and you can even make the red lights flash to signal caution to other motorists! It's like having a rechargeable road flare with you at all times! The main light has three different power levels, and can rotate from spot to flood. I love it because I can dial up the power and turn it to spot to read trailer numbers on a busy yard from a distance, yet move it to a low beam and flood for general work. Also, the bezel has multiple sharp points on the tip, and it could also be used as a self defense striking tool if a situation arose that needed it! I love the ability of the light to use a rechargeable power source as well as traditional AA's. Add in the fact that this light is made of a practically indestructible polymer material and it's waterproof, and I have to question why you are still reading this review! Buy this light! You won't regret it!! 5 |
