Amazon Seagate 5Tb External Hard Drive

I have found the Seagate 5TB drive a great external drive for backing up video editing projects, and for taking with me on video shoots. I can copy files from my cameras onto the drive, keep filming the next day, and then plug it into my computer when I am back in the office and I have all my files.

I bought this to replace a Seagate 5TB drive that died, and thus far I'm very happy with the ease of use and performance of the WD 5TB My Passport external drive. I'm using it for Time Machine backups and it's doing the job perfectly. It would be equally good for other more mobile uses. The fact that it is powered through the USB connection is a plus and I don't have to deal with another external power supply.

I love LaCie hard drives and SSD's.� This 5TB hard drive is as solid as a rock.� I have gotten rid of all of my other drives and ONLY use the LaCie Rugged drives now.� I use Adobe Premiere Pro on my Mac Pro (late 2013) computer and my LaCie rugged drives are a perfect fit. LaCie uses Seagate drives which has been a very dependable drive for me for many years.� Seagate has been around since 1979.

At first I was skeptical with the dimensions that my Seagate 2TB External Hard Drive would fit into this case. I called the store and the gentleman assured me it would. So, I got it. This case provides the protection I need to carry my External Hard Drive from one location to another and with the hard-shell design, I can have confidence that my external hard drive will function when I plug it in to my laptop.

I use the LaCie 5TB Rugged hard drive as a backup for my faster SSD external hard drives. So far, so good. The hard drive is reliable and performs well.

Very good price for 5tb external hard drive. Already formatted for Mac.It is so convenient to use. Also like the connector for dual port.It has both of USB 2 and C in one.A very good idea especially for limited numbers of port in the computer. I like it.

My 3 TB Seagate External Hard Drive went along with 80000 images. I was devastated . Luckily I had done GoodSync Backup and was able to get all my images back onto this 6 TB WD External Hard Drive. I bought two of these , the second one for backup. I plan to buy a third to keep off site.
