I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

Bought this as an upgrade to another portable hard drive I have for when I'm shooting on the road. It's super fast and I don't have to worry about a spinning disk since it's solid state. Also, being solid state it seems to draw less power from my laptop. The biggest plus is the extra speed though. Great little hard drive 5 |

The Sandisk Ultra SSD's have been my first choice for solid state drives. Great performance and at a competitive price. I've done a lot of upgrades for people and have had zero issues with these. 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

I use Sandisk almost exclusively for compact flash and SD cards in my cameras and they've always been very reliable. This USB flash drive works just as well. But I will mention that I purchased this same one from Amazon and it failed on me after about 6 months and I also had a Lexar CF card from Amazon fail on me after one shoot, which leads me to believe the problems more to Amazon's quality control than the manufacturers. I now never buy memory from Amazon. I still trust Sandisk and this flash drive is still going strong for me. 5 |
