Amazon Tablet Update Turn Off Automatic Android

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...

You think you don't need automatic variable ND until you do and makes your life way easier. This camera is only a firmware update away from being perfect. The only thing it really lacks is touch tracking. You get used to the menus quite quickly after playing with them for a couple of days, no sweat. The one accessory I'd like to see is some sort of low profile audio input so we can remove the top handle and have audio.

All reviewers say Bitdefender Total Security is the BEST. Easy to use, great automatic update reminders, just great online protection.

Update: At first I wasn’t crazy about this lend. It wasn’t automatic love as with the 70-200, the macro and my other Sony glass. But I had not put in the time; now I have, and this is five stars working for me! I shoot hand held and this weight is absolutely fine. If I shift a bit :move position the AF is fast enough re-orienting. Highly recommend!

Works instantly when plugged into my Windows Laptop, Android Phone (Samsung A21) and my Amazon Fire 10 tablet. Tested with PC drawing/paint applications: Krita, Synfig Studio, andClip Studio (Free bonus after registration from Wacom). Also runs with MediBang Paint on Amazon Fire 10 to give me a cheap portable art studio! It's also kind of cool to use with my smart phone, but I haven't yet loaded an art application (there are several for Android). Buy one now before the sale goes away!

I have used the Amazon Fire Stick, Matricom G-Box Q and Roku 3 for a while. I had been thinking about getting the NVidia Shield TV for a while and finally decided to get it when the new version with Amazon and the smaller footprint was released. I have played with it for about 2 weeks and I have to say that this is the most powerful box I have used as far as Android TV is concerned. I have SlingTV, YouTube, Amazon Video, Plex and Kodi apps that I use most often. I do have a 32GB usb stick connected to save apps and data there since I have the 16GB model. That works but apps do take a little longer to start from the USB. I did install a few games that the kids enjoy playing and they work great. Some games do crash every now and then such as Hungry Shark but not all. The included remote and came controller are easy to use and get used to. This box makes using Android TV enjoyable whereas others promise performance that diminishes quickly over time. I would highly recommend this box to anyone who doesn't mind spending $200 and values performance and quality of cost. This box replaced a Roku, G-Box and Chromecast for me and I don't have to buy a separate gaming console for the kids, at least for a little while.

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates.
