Easy exchange - when I bought a USA Cellular Camera

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

MADE IN THE USA - One of the main reasons that I looked at this item, knowing that the Quality would be better then the Amazon.com Cheaper Knock Off Asian Made items. You get what you pay for, I know these are alittle more, however the quality is worth it, as well as supporting one of your neighbors that may work here. I was VERY PLEASED with this Camera Cover for my Canon 10D w/Grip, fits perfectly, even with the E-1 Hand Strap attached. I will be buying more of these for my other Camera's!

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

This is a nice product. Made in the USA, not much is now a days. It's a solid construction that is very high quality. The level of the caller can be adjusted with the pot which I did already use. I wish I could adjust the level for the headset mic. I really like that you can record one channel for yourself and one channel for the caller, that is great. There is some signal spill over from the caller to your audio channel (at a lower audio level) but I'm not sure if that is my phone. This unit comes with 2 audio cables, one for your phone (4 pin or TRRS) and one for your audio recorder (3 pin or TRS). I would recommend this phone tap to anyone and I would buy it again.
