Amazon Verizon Wireless Basic Phones

The bezels are a bit large for this year, and the battery arrived at 0% (suggesting it spent a long time in a warehouse), but this is a great phone for the (sale) price. Took a long time to update to the latest and only learned after the fact that I could have flashed it with the latest Android bypassing the intermediary steps. It pays for itself in months in free Google Photo storage if you are an avid image creator. The only issue I've noticed is that sounds played through the browser sound far worse than in my other Android phones. This is likely a firmware/software issue that Google isn't even aware of and as such, given their inability to take in bug reports, will probably never fix. I took the Verizon SIM card out before updating and it was hard to connect to Wi-Fi at first, but in the end, after all the updates, there was no Verizon crapware. I have been using the phone only on Wi-Fi so I cannot confirm that it works with other providers, but I don't expect that to be an issue moving forward. I wish it came with a cover, as most phones do these days, but I was able to order one on eBay for $3.

My old Samsung phone was starting to malfunction so I needed to find a replacement. I am a very basic conservative smartphone user so I was only looking for a basic, affordable and dependable phone. I think I found it in this 128 gig Pixel 3 that was on sale for $200.00. I won't review particular details about the phone because I don't feel qualified to do so, there are online reviews for that. I can can inform you that the phone is brand new in the factory sealed factory box. I bought the Verizon unlocked model and it was supplied with a Sim Card. However, while activating the phone online with Verizon I was directed to remove the new Sim Card and replace it with the card from my old phone. All went well and I didn't have to wait in line at a Verizon store to activate it. I paired the phone with the Spigen Tough Armor case which I like very much.

I am a working professional so even things as basic as a cable are a big deal to me. I previously bought a cheaper cable on Amazon. It sometimes worked at a low data rate and sometimes did not work at all. I decided to re-order, this time from a reseller and brand that I can count on- B&H and Angelbird. It has provided maximum speed and solid reliability.

This was a surprise to us when we got it. It is a much better purchase than the Amazon basics we have been using. Little larger but much sturdier. very pleased and it cost about the same as the Amazon Basic model.

I needed some extra light stands and these are great! these are beefier than my Amazon Basic light stands and feel like they'll be able to hold a little bit more weight. I purchased these for my Slider with a couple of ANDYCINE Mini Quick Release 1/4-20 attached I can now setup and break down my slider a lot faster they fold up nicely and are small enough when I put them onto my camera back without them sticking up off the top a lot

I originally bought an Amazon basic uv filter to protect my lens, but something about it just didn't feel right. It was light, it had poor threading, it didn't meet my expectation as protective product. This B+W UV Haze lens firstly is hefty and feels very professional. The threads are smooth as butter for my Canon 24mm 2.8 and does not affect any photographic qualities. You get what you pay for in the filter market.

I have a bunch of inexpensive UV filters - Vivitar, Hoya, Amazon Basic, etc. - �and I did and A/B comparison with B+W. �With sun or a bright light hitting the lens, all the other filters added a very noticeable layer of haze/flare/reflections. �With the B+W the image was indistinguishable from the lens w/o a filter.

Perfect for a basic setup. I use it for just a 2 speaker phono setup to play vinyl, and I can still Bluetooth music from our phones. I only wish the speaker wire connectors would accept banana plugs.

Now we have one for me and one for my wife! Critical for comfort with our basic phones! Comfortable! Offers great sound and mic clarity!
