Amazon Wireless Home Router

Excellent router that covers my whole home and all my wireless products.

I use this product to support a home video security system. I have 5 wireless G videocameras streaming live video from throughout my home. This is a budget setup and this router fit the bill perfectly. The router is constantly running at near wireless capacity as far as throughput. I use it on WPA2 b/g/n without issues. I gave it 5 stars because considering the cost and the benefits, I believe it is 5 stars. If this cost more, it would be 3 stars.

I bought this router to accommodate a web/minecraft/media server, constant online gaming, excessive video streaming, and three wireless access points (my house has metal lathe, which acts like a faraday cage). Was previously using some Netgear garbage home user Wi-Fi router that couldn't keep up with the demand and was awful to manage. This router is a breeze to manage if you have at least basic networking knowledge. The 10 ports allow me to wire my server, computer, access points, and other peripheral gear to keep the wireless networks from getting congested. The quality of my home network improved dramatically and allowed me to actually utilize every drop of the gigabit ethernet we pay for. I also appreciate Ubiquiti's detailed firmware upgrade logs. I would absolutely recommend this router to anyone looking to have fast, easily configurable internet at home, and I'm sure it would hold up well for a small business too.

I've gotten this router not only for home but also for the worksite where I work (church). This combined with a mesh system makes for one very powerful and functional wireless network for usage. It is costly but worth every penny compared to all the others out there. Buy or buy not. If you chose not, good luck on your wireless routing. If you choose yes, be prepared to have a very NICE wireless router. And yes, it even comes with all kinds of Unicorn Poop (LEDs) for those who love to have color options too.

I operate a home-based PC repair business and have occasion to setup networks for customers in my community. This is a great basic router for many of my senior clients who only have one computer and just need an inexpensive router for wireless access. I also have set it up as a wired hotspot (disabling the DHCP) for customers who have large homes or a shop attached to their house where the primary router doesn't get good wireless coverage in a given area. It doesn't give blazing fast wireless speed, but they do hold up to electrical storms pretty well (we are in the country and power flickers are common with our electrical service). For the price, I think their great.

Great router for the budget minded. No wireless.

I bought this router and paired it to my 2 ubiquiti wireless ap's. Router works great! Highly recommend. Read all the great reviews about it. They aren't lying.

After replacing my Wireless router with the Amplifi, I was able to resolve dead spots and double my available wireless bandwidth. Wifi 6 isn't supported, but there are not many devices that need wifi 6 in my environment. The setup was seamless and I love the App for monitoring the system.

First of all, wonderful router. It is everything that it said it would be and more. Super happy with the purchase. Second, B&H will be my go to from now on with electronics. I was loyal to Amazon for 20 years, but the quality has suffered badly in the last year. I continually ordered new products and received used items with them sometimes being defective. B&H shipped me the package in pristine condition as they promised in 2 days. It was packed wonderfully. So happy with B&H. Take my advice and stay away from Amazon for electronics. Fast Router. Feels like a quality made product, more like an industrial or enterprise product feel. I have my SB8200 cable modem on eth0, home office on eth1, and Linksys mesh network on eth2. It took me about 30 mins to setup being new to this type of router. Used basic wizard to setup. Made sure NAT was enabled. Firewall is enabled. I had to reset cable modem to get things going. I used various videos on you tube for setup help. Router CPU and RAM barely get used during testing of several 4K Video Streams, ip phone calls, file transfers, and speed tests running at the same time. My COX gigablast connection runs at full speed most of the time. I still need to do some real throughput testing, machine to machine on local network. I use Airflow and VLC to cast 4K content from home office to my living room entertainment center. I definitely noticed a time difference. It simply takes less time for actions to engage and finish. I can tell it has a better brain. Time will tell with reliability but I suspect it will be my router for a long time. So far, I'm happy with its performance.
