Amd Freesync Samsung Monitor

Out of the box I was experiencing screen tearing, after enabling FreeSync from the monitor then on my AMD graphics card the picture quality improved dramatically. Works as advertised. 5 |

I bought that monitor 1.5 months ago.. and i have 0 issue no flickering no ghosting. No nothing I have freesync on with out VRR enabled, if i use nvidia card than i turn adaptive sync with vrr on. 5 |

I love this monitor! Even without out freesync etc. I think it performed better in the games I want to use it for (FPS) When I saw it didn’t have freesync I was a little concerned, but it performs incredibly. Color vibrancy really is nice once tuned. Dyac is nice but do note it does dim the screen quite a bit. I do think a 24’ is a lot better than a 27’ if your having problems deciding on your first monitor. Price point is perfect for a monitor with competitive capabilities! 5 |

I was searching for a monitor to replace my aging HP ZR30w and wanted something similar in size but with much smaller bezels, true 4K resolution (1440p is too low for 32 IMHO), no-frills design, and FreeSync support, preferably with Low Framerate Compensation due to the 4K resolution. This monitor nails everything I was looking for and more. Not only does it have everything above, but it also has a fantastic stand (height/tilt/pivot/swivel), a hood you can optionally install to reduce glare, reduced blue-light mode to reduce eyestrain, and more. It also has little things like the ability to turn off the power-on LED and a great OSD design with full control. Oh, and it is perfectly calibrated from the factory to be considered a PRO monitor, it's primary use case which for me is just a bonus! Issues: Yes, it is not without quirks. One is a known issue when using a DisplayPort cable (which you must use to enable FreeSync) - basically, about once per day, the monitor will wink at you - blank out for about 1.5 seconds - and then come back on. Yes, this is weird, but since it only does it about once per day I can live with it, and I think a possible future firmware update might resolve it. It has a three-year warranty if it ever gets worse, so I will accept it given all the other virtues. The other flaw is related to long-term color bleeding at the edges that have been reported on this and other LG panels. I think it takes years for this to show up, and it isn't clear if it will affect all panels, but again with the warranty I'll take my chances - mine has zero bleed of any kind to my eyes. This monitor has an MSRP of over $1,000 which is high, and in the current market something around $750 is more appropriate, but at $569 is a tremendous value. There is a similar Dell for sale that is closer to $800 but does not have FreeSync! Go for this one! 5 |

This is a surprisingly good monitor! I tried the ASUS VG245H (24'' monitor) and had also bought the ASUS VG248QG (24'' monitor), as the VG245H has Freesync only and the VG248QG was G-sync compatible as well. Since my graphics card plans changed and I didn't do as much research into G-sync compatible monitors, I bought the VG245H thinking the Freesync might work with the RTX 2060 KO. I don't think it did after I tested it, but I also discovered I felt the 24'' size was too big for my setup and just my personal preference. Tons of people online recommended buying at least a 24'' monitor, but it was too big for me sitting 3 feet away from the monitor on a small-ish desk. It was definitely hard to find a 21'' monitor that was G-sync compatible and also had decent reviews, a DisplayPort port, and was VESA mount compatible. Glad I found this monitor :) it looks great~ 5 |

Iv had this monitor for a few years and has always worked great. Have used it for gaming and work and never fails to impress. With the use of freesync you can improve the Hz. 5 |

This is a great 1440p monitor! Colors pop and the HDR is a plus. 180hz and GSync and FreeSync Premium is great for high framerates! 5 |

I have tried multiple ports to test write/ read speed, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type -C port, USB Gen 2 port, and even a USB 2.0 port. No matter what port write/ read speeds are just under 1000 MB/s. I would suggest buying the Sandisk Extreme instead of the Extreme pro, save the money. I also tested a Samsung SSD T5 for point of reference also a great reliable drive. Current build components that would play a role in the speed: 1. AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Matisse 3.5GHz 16-Core AM4 Boxed Processor 2. MSI X570 MEG Unify AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard 3. Crucial Ballistix Gaming 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory 4. Samsung 2TB 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD 5 |
