When I had to replace the old video card for new Radeon RX 590 model in my wife’s 2012 MacPro, the up graded required a 1.4 DisplayPort to Apple Mini DisplayPort the adapter so that she could continue using her Apple 27-inch Cine-Display. Having done this exact conversion to my own MacPro with the same arrangement the year before, I found that StarTech brand adapter to be a good reliable avenue to go.

Just installed it will a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and Radeon rx 580 gpu. Haven’t had any issues and it has been running smoothly and fast. No complaints at all.

I upgraded from an AMD Radeon Pro WX 9100 to Radeon Pro VII. I can tell the difference right away, although my system has a few outdated parts now, this is an excellent step forward to upgrading my entire system.

Has everything I need. Both WiFi and Bluetooth and all the control I would ever need over my AMD chip.

Time to upgrade my old Radeon RX580. Still running well, except the newer games are being bottlenecked by the graphics card. Decided to go with the RX7900 GRE, and I am glad I did. Getting great frame rates and beautiful video rendering. The Gigabyte drivers are stable and run well. This is a big card. It is a tight fit and requires careful cable routing. A big power supply is recommended, a 750W or bigger. Very pleased with the upgrade. My newer games look so much better!

First graphics card upgrade in eight years. My old card (Radeon RX580) was creating a 54% bottleneck within my PC. Upgraded to a 3060 12g v2 and have seen a marked performance increase. Which is to be expected when making a three generation jump in graphics cards. No longer getting a bottleneck.

I've never been a fan of shooting video on the GoPro when using the auto settings. These allow me to control my shutter speed, and get great looking footage out of this camera. Definitely a must for anyone shooting video on a GoPro.

My previous HP, a Z2 G4 has been solid for the past three years but the fan was loud and Chrome was usually the cause. On the Z9, add DDR5 memory and the maxed out NVidia A2000 video card, I have yet to hear the fan on the G9. It weighs a lot more than the G4 and I credit that to the beautiful metal outer case and all the heatsinking inside. The only drawback to the A2000 video option is you must loosen the one blue screw and remove the card if you need to do anything to the BIOS. Ms-windows must be running to get any video as the Nvidia A2000 card does not have EGA/VGA emulation. Not HPs fault, IMHO. BIOS company and microsoft need to add support.

If you're running a Z4 G4 with a high end video card - or an external RAID card, this fan will definitely lower the case temp by a bit. I have a pair of NvMe drives in my Z4, attached to the motherboard slots. This made the fan installation a bit dicey - it looked like it wouldn't fit. But that turned out to be untrue. If you lay the fan flat on the side that will face the interior of the computer, you can easily just raise it up into position. If you watch the HP video on (allegedly) how to do this, IMHO you will not succeed.
