AMD Ryzen 1500B Quad Core Processor (2.2GHz) 2 x M2 NVME Cache slots 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports Expandable to 18 Drives with 2 x DX517 Up to 32 GB DDR4 memory (comes w/4 GB) I purchased this unit instead of buying 2x expansion units for my DS1621+ (including a 10G PCIe card it only cost $150 more than 2 x DX517s). Getting 700-800 MBs transfer rates from desktop M2 NVMEs (or from DS1621+) over 10G network to 8x12Tb RAID 5 in DS1821+. Now have more than enough storage capability. Also using to run Linux/Win 7/Win 10 Virtual Machines and centralized reception of email using Mail Station and Roundcube.

I have been having occasional issues with external TB3 Docks on my 7,1. This card seems to have solve all my random crashes apparently tied to those docks.

No crashes even after the camera fell on the asphalt. Also, there are no failures during long-term storage of photos. Reading speed at 64 GB is 90 mb/s. Kingston card reader is also very good. Great memory card for a great price

I am a video editor and want to backup my files to protect them from any crashes. This is the best solution to constantly have a backup running of your backup with a Raid 1 setup.

PC crashes because BIOS support is not there yet.

I have bought 2 other brands and they did not preform well. This works very well in Win 10 with my 4 monitors.

Had a Lexar card that was overheating when doing video work longer than 10 minute clips. I decided to get a new card that had better sustained speeds and this fixed my heating issue I was having on the Z8. I no longer get a heat warning and the card stays much cooler. Worth every penny to be able to use my camera to its full potential.
