Very happy with the MB supporting an AMD 7950X. Bios memory battery was dead on arrival. Linux support is a bit rough at the moment. I had ethernet failures until I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/xypn1m/network_card_intel_ethernet_controller_i225v_igc/ Linux audio not is passing through the S/PDIF at the moment.

I'm sure if you are using this SD card in a camera or in a Windows 10/11 installed computer, then you are going to just plug and play. However. if you are planning on installing this in a Linux machine, you should be aware that you may be in store for a bit of work to make Linux play with this storage device the way you want it to. In my case I installed this SD card in a laptop running Pop OS! Linux and it required formatting to ext4, partitioning and manually editing the /etc/fsck table to make it work the way I wanted. This is specific to the Linux distro I'm using and it is NOT an issue with the SD card. Once I finished getting Linux to play nice with the SanDisk card, it has worked flawlessly with the Back In Time disk backup utility and I'm very pleased with the SD card's capacity and performance.

Installed this Gig Eth. card in my Linux PC and was easily recognized. Works flawlessly to connect my VM's to multiple LANs.

I wanted a screaming fast desktop with the ability to expand and upgrade. In addition to the original 1tb nvme drive, I've since added a second nvme, two SATA ssd's, and a usb a/c hub with extra ports. Amazing! On Windows 11 I'm getting over 1gb on wifi, and I haven't even tweaked any hardware/overclocking settings. Now that other nvme was for Linux Mint, so now it's a dual boot beast! I'll need to deploy some geek magic to get the internal wifi 7 card working, and because the NVIDIA card is so new the driver manager won't let me install the most recent NVIDIA driver on Linux but both issues should resolve themselves over the next few months as the operating system catches up to the latest hardware innovations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had to do very little to get this working. Installed in a Linux server, booted into the card BIOS, configured the RAID and done. It presented the drive to the OS as configured, and throughput was better than I expected (first time using a StarTech controller, so I WAS apprehensive) given the list price. The small size makes for it not getting in the way inside the case or obstructing airflow. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

512 micro sd sandisk ex... (red/gold card) great micro sd card, tested in linux, android,IOS,windows, the speeds listed at overblown, and only available under perfect conditions. that said😀, i am still happy with this card. for me, speeds are around 20-30mbs, and thats ok. one little bit of info thats helpful, even when pushed in a Linux device, these don't get AS hot , compared to last generation cards. (they still get quite warm) ive actually toasted a few micro sd cards from pushing them, but not this next generation type. (Linux can do this easy) if you can make a little air blown(think dc micro blower) micro sd reader, then speeds almost double. roughly 110 bucks for 512 gb, is a fair price. when used in a microSD hard drive enclosure (4 card config) they work perfect! (can use RAID setup in these too)

works great, fast and compatible with Linux. the quality of the card and heat sink is worth the money. don't waste your time on the cheaper brands.
