Amd Video Card Overheating

Had a Lexar card that was overheating when doing video work longer than 10 minute clips. I decided to get a new card that had better sustained speeds and this fixed my heating issue I was having on the Z8. I no longer get a heat warning and the card stays much cooler. Worth every penny to be able to use my camera to its full potential.

This is a great value card with lots of speed. If you look at video overheating tests on Nikon Z8s, you'll see that it takes a long time for it to happen with Delkin compared to other cards.

I am an AMD fan and this budget card works great! Love it!

Amateur photographer here. Using this card in a Z8 has so are yielded excellent results with no overheating!

I had it with overheating SanDisk ExtremePRO CFexpress cards my Z8's. 4K /60FPS 10bit would set off card and camera alarms, yellow, to red, to shutdown. Sometimes after 20 minutes. Tried this DELKIN as a test. The overheating problem is resolved. Ran 10 tests each for 1 hour continuous, back to back. The camera will show hot card alarm but never get Camera hot alarms.

this is the fastest card but also the lowest temperature card! no wonder your R5 is overheating, you are using an inefficient card, this is the best memory card in the world, no question about it, I have used an older Delkin card for 6 years without a glitch ever, and my other cards have all failed at some point or the casing fell apart, worth every dollar.

I had a problem with my Nikon Z8 overheating with my Sandisk cfexpress card. I read where Delkin cards were better and they were right. Before I would get a Hot Card warning after about 20 minutes at 4k 25fps. Now I don't get it until 55 minutes. Big improvement.

It's a Solid Card. I've yet to have any overheating Issues, I have yet to have any corrupting issues. I run it in my ronin 4d Works perfectly

I got this for travel and general use with a priority on video and occasional photo. Image quality is great, as expected, given it is the A7SIII sensor. I never shoot long video clips, but was still worried about overheating, especially outdoors. The first use was an event where I shot during an afternoon split between indoor at 78F and outdoor at 97F. Shot 92 clips of 1-5min at 4K60p XAVC HS. No overheating or warnings. Excellent! Photos are great, too as long as you can work with 12MP. The only negative is lack of EVF. I didn't deduct from the rating because I knew this going in, but it is a consideration for those who will be doing a lot of shooting in bright sunlight. Even at its brightest, the monitor is not easy to use in these conditions.
