Really fantastic big string sound in the VSL instrument family. 5 |

Dust cover, stretchy material, pull string to tighten around instrument base. Plenty of slack to fit just about any keyboard 49-61 keys. 5 |

Got this for a five night trip from America to Copenhagen, and I can't be more pleased. I packed over 50 lbs of clothes and gear into it, lugged that around on my back, and the bag felt like it could handle anything I threw at it. Can't wait to use it for ski and road trips. Two notes: the olive green can accumulate some smudges in airplane cargo holds, and the bag can carry so much weight, carrying it can wear on your back if you're as old as I am (47). Still, it does everything I ask. 5 |

Got this based on my experience with the TE Op-1, a modern classic. The Z is smaller, more powerful, and a distinctly different instrument to the OP-1. The emphasis here is on performance, and the influence of the Pocket Operators is strong on this. Theres a lot of options and control behind an interface that has a bit of a learning curve. Bear through it, it pays off! The integration to do light controls and Unity to do visuals on an iPhone or iPad is a game changer. Its easy to connect and is the ultimate tool to impress at a house party (sadly no longer in my repertoire). Its pricey and doesnt compare with synths in its price category for synth editing and sound creation, as its really a category of its own. The sequencing, sampling, sound engines, etc. all together makes it the ultimate musical tinker tool on the airplane, tour bus, backwoods -- wherever. If history is any indicator, TE will invest in lots of updates that will continue to unlock functionality over time, which is like getting a new instrument every few months. Recommend buying one - put the future of synth workstations in your pocket! 5 |

Got these from BH Photo Video primarily for instrument stereo instrument miking; especially drums, so I use it for just that, and these mics gave me a wow the first time I used it. Excellent stereo imaging when used as drum overheads. I noticed a clean/clear, almost flat sounding response! no annoying frequency hype to my ears. They're small, light, compact and powerful. I should mention that the included mic clips are rugged, pretty much the best clips I've ever had/used. The included pop screens aren't as effective on reducing vocal 'plosives' as well as conventional pop filters that hook up to the mic stands. But this is not your extra versatile multi-polar pattern microphone as it is fixed Cardioid. There is also no built in Pad/attenuation. But generally, for what it is, and what it was made for, its an excellent choice- buy it! 5 |
