American Stream Digital Antenna

I purchased this to replace an analog IEM antenna combiner that I was using on a Digital IEM platform that was having issues with dropouts and interference. The original (high-end professional) product had been recommended by another supplier, and I was skeptical that it would make any difference to replace as it was amplifying and combining the same signal. This combiner (made specifically with tuning to support Digital IEM's) instantly fixed all of the issues I had been chasing for months. The IEM's are now solid from hundreds of yards away, and no dropouts. This thing has saved my productions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powered digital antenna works great. I get better more consistent signal compared to my non-powered digital antenna. This antenna has less interference as described. The black slim profile blends in well in our living room. I would recommend buying.

Used with Spectrum cable and with digital tv antenna. I did not know that my tv would turn the receiver on and off so when using the Spectrum issued remote it would turn off and back on. Just had to eliminate it from the remote.

i love this television. setup was a breeze. connected to wifii, with digital antenna, and voila, hundreds of channels.

I own 2 of these, one holds 4 Shure ULXP receivers with the antenna/ power disto and the other holds a Behringer S32 Digital Snake I/O Box perfectly (should be listed on the S32 page because it fits so well...)

Two of these digital preamps were used in the construction of my first surround sound microphone array internet appliance. The first stream from the appliance using this preamp went online May 15, 2011 and will be available very soon at @. I have been operating these preamps for 24 hours straight and they are working great. The construction of the unit appears very professional. Operating at about 44db of gain, there was little noise in the stream. However going from 44db to 48 db, the amplifier noise became apparent. If you are looking for a low cost, high qaulity preamp for your computer, this is the preamp to buy.

I needed to add a separate streaming Roon end point for headphone use via a DAC. I looked at what was available to stream with a noise free and good time output to a DAC. iFi ticked all the boxes at a very low price point when compared to other options. The Zen has SPDIF and USB for the digital DAC outputs. I used the USB. Both Outputs have tech to insure that noise/timing issues has been limited to a minimum which is very important ( Rubbish in means rubbish out). Ethernet used since this ensures no dropouts or throughput issues. You will have to set the system mode selector (Roon for me) so again one should know what you are using or plan to. It was straight forward to set up by going to ifi websight (internet search if in doubt). Performance wise this sends a very good digital stream to my DAC. No issues with timing or noise. The imaging and musical enjoyment match my Roon driven /SSD NAS / Meridian MS600 endpoint. So full thumbs up for very little money.
