Amplifi Wireless Router

After replacing my Wireless router with the Amplifi, I was able to resolve dead spots and double my available wireless bandwidth. Wifi 6 isn't supported, but there are not many devices that need wifi 6 in my environment. The setup was seamless and I love the App for monitoring the system.

I bought one of these because I figured the package with the router and two of these would be overkill for the size of my home. So, I bought the Amplifi router and this together. The router install quickly and easily. This was no different. Once I plugged it in, it went through its set up. In must a minute, it was up and running. When I move around the house, my devices don't skip a beat. I'm loving the mesh experience and get far better coverage with a stronger signal all around my home. Loving it so far.

I have had the AmpliFi base router for a couple of years and found it to be a tremendous value but didnt bother with any mesh points as my home is small. I have outside shed thats been converted into an office though, and at first it connected fine, but maybe the profusion of wifi in the neighborhood is what has caused me to drop out of demanding online gaming events recently. I tried swapping channels, etc., but eventually decided to risk the very reasonable cost of approx. $100 on a mesh point. Installation couldnt have been easier; I plugged it in and opened my app. It was already visible on my network, I added it in with a single click and named it. Immediately my connection problems were 100% solved. I gamed all night with a perfect connection and zero dropouts, despite being across the backyard from my base router. Bottom line, if you already own a AmpliFi base router and want a stronger signal at a distance, this mesh point antenna is a no-brainer. Get one without delay.

At first I was concerned that this device wasn't compatible with my Amplifi Instant router, so I posted a question on the product page and got 3 immediate responses - one from a B&H employee - confirming it would work I bought two and have complete coverage of the house and porch, and a very happy family.

I have the Amplifi Mesh for several years. The difference between the old router and mesh network is day and night. This is my second standalone extender on the original mesh network. Again, the difference is amazing!

After having tried other options unsuccessfully, the AmpliFi router with the two mesh points works consistently. We have not had any connectivity issues since installing AmpliFi. Additionally, the app that you download walks you through the connection/set up easily. If you have AT&T, you will need to request that they bridge you with your AmpliFi.

Excellent product. I used it with an Amplifi router, and that made it really easy to set up, but I suspect it is not much harder with any router. Good product. Coverage of our house and yard is great now.

The AmpliFi router is on the lower level. Original (2) mesh nodes did not provide consistent signal strength upstairs, at the other end of the house. Since installing the third mesh node, the Roku unit in the bedroom provides better picture clarity with no buffering. Setup is simple.

This is what I need. I want this device to connect to the wireless network (at hotel, etc) and provide me with an ethernet port. I will then connect an Amplifi Instant Router the the ethernet port on this TP-Link RE600X and provide me with my own private network. The Amplifi Instant Router will easily connect to my AmplifI HD router at home and create a VPN connection that can be used by any devices I travel with to give those devices access to my home network.

I was concerned that these (I bought two) wouldn't be compatible with my AMPLIFI Instant router so I asked the question online. Three answers came back unanimously confirming that they were. Very easy to configure. Now I have full coverage for the entire house.
