Amplifier With Subwoofer Connection

I first bought Sonos (the receiver/amplifier) at least 8-10 years ago. I have given them as gifts four times. I own the soundbar, subwoofer, three generation one Play 5's, one Play 3, two Play 1's, and the trusty amplifier. One thing I particularly like is the ability to "plug and play" with ease any where you have an electrical plug around your home: we move our family room Play 5 onto the patio for music outdoors. I also like the ease of set-up. Yesterday I took two Play 5's and two Play 1's to a friends house (he already had a sound bar and subwoofer) to send the sound of a Husker football game throughout his home for a party. In less than 10 minutes we had all four speakers up and running. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, I love the sound quality. We have a 3200 square foot home and the speakers easily fill the house with precise sound. I get chills with certain songs because of the purity and depth. I can't wait to try my next intended purchase: two generation two Play 5's.

Needed these for connection with my subwoofer, these were better quality than the original and worked perfectly.

I was able to play Pandora & ITunes songs from my laptop using the Bluetooth connection on the amplifier.

The B&H rep recommend that I use this splitter for a subwoofer cable connection and my system now works beautifully.

This side-plug cable allowed switched power connection from a top-end amplifier to CD player in a tight cabinet space. The unneeded third prong ground connection was removed from the plug to permit this application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying the sound coming out of the LG Soundbar S80TR. I know you might have heard that a soundbar makes a difference when watching movies and listening to music, well I had one, now add to that experience a subwoofer and wireless speakers... game changer! Just be aware that the power connection cables that come with wireless speakers are not very long, so you have to be able to place them near an outlet or consider an extension cord of sorts. The subwoofer can be dialed down along with alot of settings in the app. I like that since I live in an apartment. The subwoofer is big but on the slimmer side so it isn't as noticeable. The setup was relatively easy and quick, I have had a few connection issues when starting it up, like the movie would pause by itself, but it has yet to happen again after those first few days.

I have a 15+ year old B+W subwoofer that started humming for the first time. I tried a couple of things regarding its electrical connection and that was not the issue. I searched on the internet and found this item at B+H with great reviews. It has been attached for two weeks now and no humming since. Thanks B+H!

I upgraded from a Yamaha AX470 to the new A-S301, basically the same power plant but with the new refinements, a subwoofer connection, and Bluetooth capability. Same quality and price point.
