Seem clean. Using with Audioengine D1 24-Bit Digital to Analog Converter USB out of MacPro 2013 to Genlec speakers for video post monitoring. Reviews said cables were the best - and they seem nice and clean, although I'm no audio file.

Had an analog composite video signal & needed to connect it to an SDI input. This converter accomplished that perfectly.

Use the S-Video to HDMI Converter to connect an old analog video system to a new Digital TV. Without this device the entire system would have to be replaced. That was infeasible.

I found out this converter very useful, it support not only Cross/Up/Down converter, but also Analog to Digital converter since they have a video composite input. However, there is no Composite output, which means there is no Digital to Analog converting. I saw the other review that someone think it's also support D to A, but not at all.

I use this Analog to SDI converter to capture old tape formats into my Avid. It's simple to set up, just by flipping a dip switch or two, and with a BNC cable and 2 audio cables, you can convert video easily and capture into an SD project. After which I open the SD bin into my HD project and I'm off to the races. It has saved me so many times, I have one of these in each work station.

We are using the converter on the output of an analog 6 x 1 switcher to convert our analog video sources to SDI for use in our HD production control room. Straight forward setup. Works great.

Used to sum the stereo output of an Apple TV (Optical Audio to Analog converter PodDI to a Mono Mixer. The podDI works great the the Ground loop switch makes it crystal clear!

The Blackmagic Design devices are excellent, high-quality and function well.  They are also (particularly the Mini Converter Analog to SDI) excellent GPS signal jammers and that fact has caused me a lot of grief.  I use the analog to SDI converter in my aircraft and the SDI to analog converter in my office.  I have three GPS receivers in my small plane that I do infrared remote sensing work with and all three were jammed and rendered inoperable when the converter had power applied to it.  My plan is to speak with the company to see if there is something they can do with internal shielding, and alternatively, Ill build a Faraday cage to limit the negative effects on my navigation equipment which is typically within about five or six feet of the converter.
