Android Battery Symbol But No Charging

Wonderful battery as an addition to my other one. No issues with charging or with the camera.

For charging my android phone and connecting it to my desktop computer

No issues at all. I always have two ready to go when out on the road. Charging is easy and no issues with the battery with my A7R5.

Everything is good except the charging cord. Why did you change from the standard android?

Prior to this I was charging my camera battery in my camera (when I purchased the camera it didn't come with a battery charger). But then I found this gem and would definitely recommend it. It's cheaper than the double battery chargers and just what I need as a beginner photographer.

This is just a very preliminary review as I have only had the camera for a few days and have made only some test pictures to ensure it is operating properly which it is. So far – so good. Until now I have been using the EM5 Mark II with great results but there were two features on the Mark III that immediately caught my attention – a slightly higher resolution sensor and - the in camera battery charging. Although I’ve not yet had any issues with the Mark II’s smaller sensor I feel the larger sensor will be an advantage if making a very big print – especially if substantial cropping might be required. I edit using Photoshop CC and always shoot in the RAW + JEPG mode. But the feature I really like is the in camera battery charging. Not having to carry around the charger with that absurdly long power cord (There are some other options to this) is a pleasure. Just a short USB to USB micro charging cord will work - fine. But if you want to transfer your photos directly to a computer, you will probably want to use the included cable since not all third party cables while they will charge, may not support data transfer. Not an issue for me – I normally remove the card and download directly from it in my laptop or desktop. In summary, This is a purchase I’m very happy I made.

Great Sound, Long Battery Life, No real setup. Does take a LONG TIME to charge the first time. On the charging bar, I got 3 bar after a few hour but it took it all night to do the full charge and to show 5 charging bar. Not a problem.

Fantastic bag. I have always travelled with an external battery for charging my tech on the go. No more searching the bag for cables and pulling out a tangled mess after being sure I neatly coiled the cables. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I don't like charging the battery in the camera. This allows charging a spare battery from an AC/DC source. No AC cord needed. Prongs fold in. Charger is small. Has interchangeable plates so you can charge other camera batteries if you have another brand or type of battery. Plates are very inexpensive. Highly recommended.

I've always liked out-of-the-camera charging devices. Those that come with many cameras are designed to charge only one battery at a time. This device will do two simultaneously - each with its own reading and charging level. The interchangeable charger plates make this one of the most practical chargers on the market. The plates are very sturdy and well made. The batteries seat with authority. No more cumbersome individual chargers plugged in around the house. No more extension cords. I like the fact that it also can be used in the car and although I haven't used it yet, the USB port adds a level of versatility. When I bought this, I added plates for three different batteries. I did not notice that they only come one per box so if you have multiple batteries of the same type, purchase two plates for each battery size.
