Android Charging Slowly After Update

Purchased these to update my cables slowly but surely, excellent.

For charging my android phone and connecting it to my desktop computer

Everything is good except the charging cord. Why did you change from the standard android?

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates.

For the discounted price, it cannot be beat. Was able to update it to Android 11 without any problems was another plus. Very responsive; the camera takes very decent pictures; wifi reception was way better than my LG V20. The only problem is if you are coming from a bigger handset, this will feel very small and takes a while to get used to. The good thing is it fits any pocket and you don't guilty about replacing this phone after 2 years.

They charge a little bit slowly (but by no means as glacially as some other brands)--I use these for overnight charging the day before a shoot. My strategy is to have lots of batteries so I don't have to worry about charging on a shoot, so these work great, because you can get a couple of them foe the price of one more expensive charger.

I have been slowly switching my lighting over to GVM lights. After owning several of their lights I have to say this one is a cut above the rest. The functionality coupled with the brightness makes this an amazing filmmakers tool. The app is super easy to connect and gives you full control of scenes, kelvin, and brightness which makes set up a breeze. The semi hard case will protect it for travel and keep everything organized. It comes with the ac power supply and like most all other GVM products it uses the np-f style batteries. for my small studio setup this light gives me plenty of light as a main or a fill just by simply adjusting it via my phone so I can see real time results looking through the camera. If you are in the market for a single light setup this one will cover just about any situation you need.

I use these cables in a semi-professional recording studio. Cables really DO make a difference. After slowly replacing all the cables in the studio with Mogami, the entire sonic audial spectrum has been greatly enhanced.

The fastest charge I've seen for my Android phone (it also works for non-Android products as well). Included in the box are a 10W wireless charging stand, 4 ft. cable power supply, and a USB-A to micro-USB cable. There is an led light that updates the status of your charge. Your phone is secure on the charger because of a non-slip grip. An all-around great charger and I highly recommend it.
