Android Mini Tablets 2017

Having struggled with Android tablets for years, it's awesome to see something that just works as expected! 5 |

I want to start by saying I am normally not an apple fan. This product was purchased because it was slightly easier and smoother to lock down than android tablets. It sits on a wall and acts as a single app kiosk, and was therefore ideal. The price was in the same realm as android tablets too so it was hard to ignore. In conclusion, Apple once again made a boring, unassuming, but ultimately reliable and simple device. My abhorrence for them as a corporation not withstanding, this was the perfect product for my needs. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had to many Android tablets. They were sluggish, but useful with my Google account. This tablet is fast as I want it to be, the screen is beautiful, and the pen works like butter. 5 |

I use these for my Android tablets, Raspberry Pi, and music player. The large capacity and fast speeds make a big difference. I was using older and slower microSD cards for my Pi but when I used this one, boot time and performance increased noticeably. SanDisk storage has never disappointed me, whether used for computers or photo equipment. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several well know Android tablets and this on is by far one of the best ones that I have used. Having some of the cool hub features and a tablet all in one makes everything convenient. The tablet itself is very responsive and fast. Some of the other Android tablets tend to lag a little bit. The screen is nice and bright with a perfect size. Typical tablet features and customization! All in all, love this tablet and concept! I only have 2 issues.... 1) If I'm using it as a hub and someone pulls it off to use it. I'd have to hunt it down. 2) Give me more color options. Other than that, BUY ONE! 5 |

I bought this to connect a new Mac Mini to my 2017 iMac. It worked great. 5 |

I have a larger Cintiq UX, I just love my mini Cintiq. B&H is my go-to store for all digital drawing tablets. I highly recommend this product. 5 |

I purchased the 4M2 recently after using the ThunderBay 4 mini for many years. It is almost exactly twice as fast. I mostly use the 4M2 on my 2017 iMac with Thunderbolt 3 ports. I had used the ThunderBay 4 mini via a Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adaptor. The ThunderBay 4 mini is completely silent while the 4M2 has a very quiet fan. I think the reviews about the 4M2 being very noisy are overblown. I don't find it overly noisy at all. I am very happy with the 4M2 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value. Very sturdy construction and great performance. 5 |

I purchased the Mac Mini M2 Pro for video editing, as my 2017 Macbook Pro was getting a bit pokey for 4K, 10-bit footage. The new Mini has handled this job without a hiccup so far, and the speedy internal SSD and an external SSD I built to go with it have helped enormously. I'd originally been looking at the Mac Studio, but the less expensive but very punchy Mini made more sense for what I do. Love it. 5 |

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates. 5 |
