Android P Update Fast Charge Not Working

I use this usb to charge my samsung android phone.

I use these to charge android phone and connect USB C drives.

So far working great. Will update after more use.

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates.

For the discounted price, it cannot be beat. Was able to update it to Android 11 without any problems was another plus. Very responsive; the camera takes very decent pictures; wifi reception was way better than my LG V20. The only problem is if you are coming from a bigger handset, this will feel very small and takes a while to get used to. The good thing is it fits any pocket and you don't guilty about replacing this phone after 2 years.

I do a lot of back to back wedding filming and was looking for a more efficient way to charge my light and audio batteries. The first charging bay I received worked well for the first 2 weeks, then one of the charging bays failed, leaving me with only 5 working. I was able to get a replacement from B&H at no charge and so far the new one is working properly. I haven't yet used the fast charging, slightly worried about reducing battery lifespan, but even the 1.2A charges fast enough that it hasn't been an issue for me yet. Something to note, if you're using a lot of bays at once, it does make an audible noise as the fan kicks on.

Only had for about a 3 weeks and it’s been working great... I’ll update this in about few more months.
