Android Phone Loses Apps Installed On Sd Card

The shield is a very well working android player, this is my second one. add a Micro sd card for added storage. you can find less expensive players but you end up replacing them every year due to functionality issues.

While I can't attest to the unit's reliability yet, I can say the image shows up nicely on my Android phone, and aiming the camera using my phone is easy. I opted for a SanDisk Max Endurance microSDXC card due to the card's ability to function under high temperatures. The unit sits unseen behind my rearview mirror and within the 5 x 5 square permitted by California.

This card works great as alternate storage in my android phone. I was able to transfer homework for one of my classes from my computer to the phone so I could upload it to the class website when I was in an area without internet.

Bought this originally as a phone sd card for an S21 and it's camera but I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 1... The Red Raider... And it worked wonders for it... I use that 4k Chromebook as a home Media Center... And the transfer speeds...as well as the Reliability... Hands down.. Samsung products are my Goto... And this Item is just proof of why.

If you are like me and got a smartphoneLG G4 and need a micro sd card then you need this card..do not get anything else then then this.now if you do a lot of video with your phone then you can get the extreme card it has more speed then this but for everything else get this my lg g4 i got 85% of phone on this card to free up my ram...the phone is running perfect no lag..no slowdown..so if you got a smartphone that has a micro sd card slot get this card now !!

These micro sd card are great. i use it for my cel phone. havn't failed yet.

I'm sure if you are using this SD card in a camera or in a Windows 10/11 installed computer, then you are going to just plug and play. However. if you are planning on installing this in a Linux machine, you should be aware that you may be in store for a bit of work to make Linux play with this storage device the way you want it to. In my case I installed this SD card in a laptop running Pop OS! Linux and it required formatting to ext4, partitioning and manually editing the /etc/fsck table to make it work the way I wanted. This is specific to the Linux distro I'm using and it is NOT an issue with the SD card. Once I finished getting Linux to play nice with the SanDisk card, it has worked flawlessly with the Back In Time disk backup utility and I'm very pleased with the SD card's capacity and performance.

No more buffering like I had with my Sony installed apps.
