Android Phone Stuck On Select Wifi Network

2024-07-26 03:51:29

I have just received it and used it lightly, but am very satisfied. My android phone does not like to connect to a wifi network that is not connected to the internet; this means I have to disable 3G internet to access the mixer, but other than that I have had no conectivity issues.

Very easy to carry, setup and aligned. I like the WiFi control with an android cell phone and Syn scan and the possibility to convert it to a Eq with an additional wedge and contra wight . The fact that is a go to and the affordable price makes it a winner for me. Great service from B&H.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying that this printer/scanner is perfect for the home office and what great you can print directly from your phone no computer needed, I will have to say that printing from your phone has some constraints also, the speed at which the document is sent may be stymied by your wifi network speed. I printed a 76 page user manual from my android phone through my wifi network every page had a 2 second pause on average probably because my network speed, and other things using bandwidth in my house. I scanned to print the test page it did show some degradation in details. Overall I would recommend this printer for a small home office / college situation.

This is a (nearly) perfect phone for me because it has 3 things: 1) 3.5mm Headphone jack 2) 16mm, 24mm, and 60mm (12MP) equivalent lenses (w/ high-end Sony quality video and camera app! RAW, 4K, Advanced DSLR-like features, etc.) 3) USB-C (USB 3.1) with support for workstation docking (keyboard/video/mouse) Other niceties include: - Wireless Qi charging - IP56/IP68 dust/water resistance - Bright and colorful OLED screen - 120hz screen refresh rate (buttery smooth!) - Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC (8 cores) w/ 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage - 2 nanoSIM slots and 1 microSD card slot (supports upto 1TB) - Snappy biometric (fingerprint) unlock - 5G phone network (with 4G/LTE, 3G, and 2G) - WiFi6E network support (yes, it does the new 6Ghz band, too!) - 5000 mAh battery! - Dedicated shutter release button (with half-press focus lock, like a camera!) - WiFi texting via the standard Google Messages app, but... Unfortunately, there are 2 things about it that I was disappointed to discover: 1) No WiFi calling. From what I've read on the Internet, this is actually the fault of the carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, et al.), but Sony seems to get the blame. It's not a deal breaker for me, but for some folks who make a lot of phone calls and don't have good cell tower coverage, this could really make life tough. 2) Thermal management really is mediocre. Or rather, this phone does get warm from time to time. While I don't play games on my phone, I have noticed that using the video recording and the phone app extensively will get this phone rather warm. Otherwise, it is a normal temperature.

This is the Swiss Army knife of portable scanners, very compact, but full of features. It fits in my backpack for travel, but once you open it up, it can do everything I needed. It has page support for feeding multiple documents, an adjustable paper feed and a dedicated slot for scanning business cards. I liked that it is fast at scanning pages with two-sided scanning! There is no long wait while it scans. The document feeder is a big time saver too. I would like to get a case or cover for it to protect it while traveling. I did have a little trouble setting it up to my network since my Google Wifi does not allow WPS connection. Once I did get it connected, it has been solid for scanning. I have been able to scan to my laptop, Android phone and iPhone. I find it very useful to be able to scan via USB, my Wifi network (to any device on my network) or directly to it via its own Wifi access point. I can be pretty much anywhere, pull it and my phone out and be scanning documents. It charges via its own AC adapter, but also via a USB cable that was included. I have it on my desk for scanning documents and keep it connected via USB, but can quickly disconnect it and take it to a meeting to scan documents. This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
