Essential to have if you want to record quality audio on your Iphone or Android smartphone. Just plug the black end into your Rode mic, the gray end into your smartphone and hit record. Great audio will follow.

Eureka, Android smartphone (through Samsung S5 at least) finally now accept iRig Mic Lav as an external microphone to record sound DURING video shooting. It is a great news. Love the opportunity to record 2 source of microphone at the same time.

This is probably (currently) the best generic Android smartphone available for the price. Works on all major US carriers, no bloatware, good battery life. Not as fast as premium phones, but certainly fast enough for regular use. Note: replace the included camera app with Camera MX from the Play Store. Add a good class 10 memory card and adopt it as part of system memory (look it up). And note that it uses a micro Sim - most high end phones use a nano SIM, but there are adapters for these.

If you have an Android smartphone, you probably use a micro-B plug to charge it. With this adapter, you can take a USB drive (thumb drive) and plug into this adapter and then into the phone. Now you can copy all those pictures from your phone onto the USB drive. I hope this helps!

I bought this to record USB audio from SD MixPre-D mixer to a cheap android smartphone (Zenfone 5) and USBAudioFieldRecorder App. And it works perfectly. The connector seems to be of excellent quality, but it has not seen abuses in the field, as I mostly record line out to PCM-M10 recorder.

I love this. I cut the cord and I'm not looking back. Best of Android and Nvidia. Gaming is really good and the streaming is great. So many differnt apps to chose from. Works great. Loaded Kodi onto it as well. Remotes work great. I have the device in my basement, a floor away in a cabinet and the game and smaller remote work great. I also have a Harmony remote with hub that controls the Nvidia shield as well. Good buy for someone that wants to cut the cord and likes to play a few games.

This performed better than I thought. It kept my phone fully charged which did not happen with the previous charger I had. I have an Android phone.
