Android Speech Recognition Bluetooth Headset

The main reason I got this mike was for improved speech recognition. I also did not want to have to wear a headset. When I did the mic set up I got a much better signal to noise ratio than my headset which was a pretty good headset. Having the mic on the desktop makes for much more convenient voice input. A test of the audio recording showed that the mic fared very well. I really don't have anything bad to say about this mic. It is rather bulky and heavy, but that comes with the territory of quality microphones. Note: this entire review was made hands-free. 5 |

I bought this microphone for use with Dragon Dictate 3 for Mac. Microphones for speech recognition can be problematic in terms of sufficient signal quality for dictate accuracy. So far I am very please with the Yeti; dictation accuracy is as good as I have seen with speech recognition in fairly technical documents. I have it set to the cardioid pattern; the ability to set different patterns for different uses is nice, although not applicable to my use. Connection is via USB, and at least on my Mac, it was easy plug and play. The only downside for speech recognition is that you are tethered by the (fairly long, supplied) USB cable, but for my use that again isn't a problem. If you want to walk around while dictating, obviously you will need a wireless option. 5 |

I use this mic for speech recognition. It works great right out of the box with no set required on Windows 10. Included with my purchase was a rebate for free headphones. The headphones arrive within 10 days and are super comfortable. 5 |

Bought this for Dragon speech recognition, so that I could speak directly to the laptop, without something bothersome attached to my head. And the mic seems to work quite well, as long as there's no other major noise in the background. Was worried that laptop has only a single, combined headphone/mic jack, but that is no problem. 5 |

This microphone does it all very well. I have used mine for over a decade for use with computer speech recognition, ham radio, public address, vocal music performance, and general speech recording. I am a microphone junkie, with many other quality microphones and this one does it all well. Solid feel with enough weight and ballast for hand-held use, with a rich, expensive-looking, extremely durable finish. Money well spent. TT 5 |

I have been using the MixPre-3 extensively as an audio interface for speech recognition with my MacBook Pro, and it has been wonderful. The clear metering and easily accessible gain knobs are definite plusses. 5 |

Easy to install. The android app works great. The sound is awesome. Recommend the subwoofer. I use it for the TV, Amazon music, and Sirius radio. It paired up with my LG 65 inch C1 oled with no issues. The packaging kept the arc and sub in perfect shape despite the usual shipping abuse. The TV speaker was horrible with speech. I always had trouble understanding what people were saying. With the arc the speech is crystal clear. 5 |

I use the headset for internet calls and for music. The mic works real good with voice recognition. The stereo is excellent. No stress on the ears. I would surely buy the product again and recommend it to friends. 5 |

My new H570e headset is exactly as advertised. The sound quality and microphone are perfect for my need to manage my severe Low Vision and macular degeneration. I use Zoom for communication and JAWS for screen reading. And I also use the microphone for speech-to-text; it transmits correctly my speech. The H570e handles these Low Vision requirements very well. The product quality is very good. B&H service was outstanding and the price is right. Terry in Lake Geneva, WI. 5 |

Easily the best headset I've had for speech. The mic is crisp, clear, and the pattern drops virtually all background noise. 5 |
