Android Tablet As Secondary Display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for an Android based tablet this is the current best on the market. The display is amazing, it is extremely powerful, and if you are in the Samsung ecosystem the synergy with the other products is great.

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...

I purchased it to add a mouse feature to an android tablet. It connected right away and works great.

I bought an Android tablet, put a hard plastic case around it, glued a quick-release plate to the case, and I use this arm to mount the tablet to my rig for use as a field monitor. The arm is much stronger than I expected it to be. I bought it because I'm broke and I figured that for this price, it wouldn't break me if it didn't hold... But it does hold... It easily holds the weight of a Google Nexus 10, its case, and the Manfrotto RC2 quick-release. I can hot-show mount it on my 5D2 or mount it anywhere I can find a 1/4-20 hole. So, I'm psyched that I made the buy.

Currently 3 displays deep into Asus ecosystem; from high hz to larger secondary displays; this may just be my favorite so far! There isn't much to choose from when buying a display of this size, but Asus delivered on quality and form when compared to similar offerings. This thing is thin but sturdy; no skimping on the stand either if you plan to use it (let's not talk about the speakers). The viewing angles are great and I've yet to configure the screen settings aside from the blue light filter - this thing is ready to go out of the box! Great for a main display in a smaller workspace or a functioning secondary display for workflow and entertainment. B&H also ships incredibly fast - thank you!

I use this at trade shows, but also to hold up my monitor at home as a secondary display when editing. So far so good. I have no regrets. I love the wheel locking feature and also the unlocking feature if you have to move it around. It also has a clean look to it, so you can keep things looking professional.

I got this to replace a similar but older ASUS model. This one definitely has a better display, and that's pretty much all I needed. I use it as a secondary monitor for video editing. No complaints!

This is a great way to expand the available storage space on your Android device. My tablet finally has some storage headroom! Full HD 1080p movies, high bitrate music files, home movies and pictures, it all fits with room to spare. THe card works flawlessly. Not a single hiccup or latency event. Solid 5 stars.
