Good for use with tablet or netbook that has only one USB Port

By working with my Windows tablet via USB and my android phone via Bluetooth, this printer offers me flexibility and creates quality labels. Allowed me to get rid of an old standalone clunky label printer, and still have portability.

I use it to connect a flashdrive to the micro-usb charging port on a Toshiba Encore tablet.

I placed my order for this in the store at the recommendation of the clerk in the accessories department, sight unseen. It was delivered the next day and what a delight! The design is simple and elegant, fits well in my big hand and flattens out very nicely to fit in my bag. What was real surprise is how easily it paired with two different devices - a laptop and a tablet - and allow me to switch between them easily. And there is a way to add even one more. The Bluetooth was essential for the tablet - (no USB port for a fob) and I can also use it for my Microsoft Surface - opening up that USB port for other uses. I HIGHLY recommend this as an essential travel tool.

Brought this for my tablet and it works perfect no problems. I can now connect any USB device that uses a standard USB A port. The only very small issue maybe is the short cord but in using it there is no real drawback.

I use this with my tablet and I love the way it lays flat against the side of the tablet. It is much less wear and tear on the micro USB port in the tablet. No downside to this product that I can see.

Able to open port door with plate full pressed against the side of the camera body. Able to use in portrait mode on my tripod, as the door does not extend past the plate. Able to use a USB cable in portrait mode using the channel towards the bottom, just be sure to buy a USB cable with a right-angled mini USB3 connector.

I use this cable with a Macbook Pro laptop and a Sony A7iv, which has a full size USB-C port. It works well, using the Imaging Edge software. I would get the 15' size (vs 10') - the extra 5' don't get in the way and give you some safety margin. I like the bright orange color that helps me to avoid tripping over it.
