I use it to connect a flashdrive to the micro-usb charging port on a Toshiba Encore tablet.

I use this with my tablet and I love the way it lays flat against the side of the tablet. It is much less wear and tear on the micro USB port in the tablet. No downside to this product that I can see.

One of my big gripes with the Micro HDMI port is how tiny it is and how a lot of cables are very thick and can really twist or strain the port. This cable is very thin and flexible, and I don't have to worry about damaging the Micro HDMI port on my equipment. It works very reliably, and I now have more than one of these.

Connects my Atomos Shinobi monitor's HDMI in to my Sony A7iii's micro-HDMI out port. Works as intended.

I'm scared to break the HDMI port on the Canon R5C and this is a great way to convert the micro HDMI port to full size HDMI and mount it so I don't break the camera.

This thing is supposed to provide you with extra security when it comes to attaching an HDMI cable, but what this essentially does is converts your Micro HDMI port to a full HDMI port! I have had other sony camers have loose Micro HDMI ports over use, but with this the connection is super tight and the tension is redirected to the full HDMI port. Plus you get the added benefit of using full HDMI cables instead of keeping spare HDMI to Micro HDMI if one craps out on a shoot.

I have had my previous camera-a Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR (actually 2) for over 10 years (released in 2012). Still a great camera-but upgrading to mirrorless was long overdue! Love the feel, controls, and menu of this camera. Bought it for it's Eye-Detect AF system that has complete coverage and it doesn't disappoint! Love the flip-screen and the Bluetooth and 5/2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for wireless transfers and remote camera control from mobile devices to send photos on location. Dislikes: I heard the Micro-HDMI port is hated (Canon went from a Mini-HDMI port on my 5D Mk III to a Micro-HDMI port on my R6 Mark II?!?) Why Canon?!? The is a weak point. The competition has a full-size HDMI port! As far as the Multi-Function Shoe-I wish the Canon AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter was integrated/included to maintain complete weather-sealing too.

If you own a Canon EOS M50 and are wanting to use an external monitor, this cable is a MUST. Canon weirdly decided the best place for the HDMI port on the Canon M50 was on the RIGHT-hand side of the camera body... you know, where you HOLD IT. So you use any other HDMI cable plugged into the Canon M50, it's constantly jabbing you in the hand, and you're putting pressure on it and the HDMI port, none of which is a good thing! Other right-angle micro-HDMI cables help a little bit, but because of their orientation they push the cable either back towards the operator or forward in the direction of the lens (the latter makes the inclusion of a cage for the M50 nearly impossible). THIS right-angle micro-HDMI cable sends the cable straight up, making the camera much easier to hold in your right hand, and much easier to connect to an external display.
