Android Turbo Charge Port

So nice to have the new turbo 3 battery. I can now shoot an entire wedding on one charge. This battery is everything I needed and more!

Prior to the Turbo SC, I was wasting atleast 3 hours prior to the night of a wedding shoot, painstakingly charging my wast collection of AA batteries. Although the SB800 is a fantastic flash, it does drink battery juice, especially in high ceiling venues. The turbo SC is a god send. Takes just an hour and a half to charge, I can do a whole wedding on a single charge. When I say whole wedding I mean a long Asian wedding tha starts at 7AM and ends at 10PM.

I used to use the Turbo 2x2's and they were OK. They were a massive improvement over the prior model that broke down a lot. The turbo 3 is a very nice improvement over the 2x2's. They give you more flashes per charge and charge faster (or it feels like they do). They are built very well and the cord attaches to the flash with a very competent lock system (so your cord doesn't pull loose while working)! They are not too heavy and the battery clip is as sturdy as they come.

Brightest flash light i now own the turbo mood is no joke it will blind you and light up a room or anything your doing with out a problem and the charge does last a little longer then they say but after a few charges that might change only time will tell

This is my second Turbo SC Power Pack. The charge time and process is quick. Light weight, I use the belt clip, and the pack is very light weight and compact. I have been using Quantum batteries for over 20 years now. If service is ever needed their customer service is there to do just that... SERVICE! I use my packs with my Olympus cameras and dedicated flash system.

I am a part-time event photographer, which means I shoot on location under various lighting conditions. I can plan for certain things, but I must always be prepared for the unexpected. The Quantum Turbo SC battery pack takes the guess work out of the equation for me. Whether I'm shooting in low light conditions, large ballrooms, music venues, clubs, etc., it doesn't really matter; I have enough power to continuously fire under extreme conditions and catch all the action, as it's happening, which I couldn't always do before. I started off with a Canon BG-E2N Vertical Grip/Battery Holder for my 50D and added a CP-E4 Compact Battery Pack, which worked pretty well, but I would find myself missing shots when I tried to fire rapidly. And I had to always start with a new set of batteries for each event since I couldn't tell how much charge was left and/or during the event, change the battery magazine when the flash head couldn't keep up with the action. The Turbo SC is a bit pricey compared to the CP-E4, but it makes the Speedlite 580 EX II on my 50D fire almost as rapidly as a 1D, and for $5,000 less. This is a work-horse piece of equipment; it's built solid, just the right size, not too big or heavy and clips securely to a belt. It takes about 1 hours for a full charge and most importantly, the charge gauge lights up in dark conditions so you always know how much juice is left to work with. I put off buying the Turbo SC because of the price, but now, after using it on location, I don't know how I ever made it without one.

I bought this battery pack to turbo charge my canon 600exrt. It is a great add on. Not only does it recycle and fire faster, I noticed more consistent color temperature from photo to photo. It's built really sturdy and it has clear power indicators. I'm not bothered in the least by the cord. The trade off of a faster and more consistent flash makes it worth it.
