Anker Nebula Solar Portable 1080P Projector Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really amazed at the quality of this projector. I know its 1080p but it is still a projector so I diddnt expect much. I was completely wrong, this picture quality is really amazing. You can blow the screen up very large and it does not reduce the quality of the image. The setup was quick and easy. If you have an HDMI to connect, the sound will also play from the projector which is a great feature. Its lightweight but also very sturdy and durable. Easy to get focused in and even comes with a remote to control all of the amazing features. I absolutely love this projector!

Once it is fully charged, it lasts for a very long time and I am able to recharge my phone or tablet several times! It is kind of heavy and it displays the current battery level as a blue LED dot. I am bringing this when I travel by plane very soon and feel that it is would be very reliable for 7 hours of traveling time! I highly recommend this exact style by Anker.

I didn't think this thing could get so tall! Very light. Very small when all folded up. Works with the projector we bought from Nebula.

I originally purchased a nebula cosmos laser DLP projector with built-in sound. The rainbow effect from the DLP technology was unacceptable and I returned it. The sound was also not great. I ended up replacing it with this projector, the EF 12. The Epson was half the price of the cosmos and by far the superior product. The projector is plenty bright, there is zero rainbow effect,And the sound is outstanding. I really cannot overemphasize how loud and clear the audio is. It blows the nebula away and is half the size. Yes, this projector desperately needs Netflix built-in, but I can’t let that keep me from giving this projector the five stars it deserves. If you are looking for the perfect outdoor projector for movie night, you have found it.

This must be the best 1080p 3D projector available for the price. Amazing quality graphics for games and 3D cinema.

Great portable projector under $1000

I bought this projector to replace a 1080p Viewsonic projector that I own. Will be using it in the Hometheater room - dark and no light. This projector works really well in that space. I could test 4K videos using the Chromecast with Google TV and the video looks great. No stuttering or troubles displaying 4K. The colours are reproduced well and I'd say black levels are really good. I've tested HDR with the PS4 HDR capability and it looks great. I am waiting to use this with a PS5 - alas I have still not been able to get my hands on one.

Excellent projector, surpassed my expectations! Very good if used at 1080p, a cinema of truth I have in my house.

This projector is capable of 1080P and I absolutely love it. The neighbor came over to check it out and was also impressed with the picture quality. We have a big living with lots of windows (with light filtering blinds) so daytime is not as bright as I would like from the projector. This is not the projector's fault since I have it projected at 166 at 8 feet for a well lit room. If the screen size were smaller and projected at a closer distance then it would be bright enough to enjoy the content. Gaming is great with zero or no noticeable lag from my experience. Sound is OK, so I have it on mute and airplay it over to my Apple HomePod. I now have my own Home Theater. Love it!
