Anker Power Bank With Pass Through Charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Anker power bank is a must have if you are big on travel. It charges my multiple devices on the go including my macbook pro and gives me piece of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so wowed with my new Anker MagGo power bank with kickstand. First of all it’s about the same size as a credit card so you can take it on the go. Enabled with fast charging it will power up your device and have it ready to go in less time than a regular wall charger. The powerful magnet attachment makes it compatible with most iPhones 12 and later.

I have several of these cables. I used them for PD power charging of both Samsung's 10,000 mah Power Bank and a Motorola Cell phone which uses Turbopower/Quick Charge and the cable works with no problems so far for doing these tasks.

I have tried many different brands and only the HyperDrive supports power delivery pass-through charging through both USB-C ports. This means I can connect my Thunderbolt 3 SSD through the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port and charge my MacBook Pro with the other USB-C port at the same time. The other brands force you to choose between Thunderbolt 3 connectivity or pass through charging through a single USB-C port. HyperDrive definitely gives me more options.

I submitted an earlier review saying that the power pass through on this cable did not provide power via USB-C to a Pavobulb 10C, this information was partially incorrect. I was confused because I was using a 'Super Fast Charging' phone charger to supply power via USB, while the charger would power the light, it would not power it when connected through the DMX cables USB-C pass-through. This seems to be true with multiple lights and cables. However using a normal charging bank I was able to power the lights using the pass through. I tried a USB charging station with has power output of 5Vdc with some at 2.4A and others at 3A, all of these power ports worked fine through the pass through. So the key takeaway is, some fast chargers for phones will not work through the power pass through on the cable, but most USB-C power ports will work find. Overall I am very happy I was wrong about the cable.

This power bank is not to heavy and it allows me to charge my phone at least twice. We charge my girls iPads on the road with it often. They really enjoy the portability of the charging bank also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This power bank by Anker came well packaged. The box included the power bank, a USB cable, and a user manual. The user manual is written on different languages and easy to follow. The power bank is super easy to use. I was impressed that it works not only for charging cellphones but also for tablets or earbuds. It provides fast charging and charges my phone in about 1.5 hours. The power bank is pretty heavy, I can not compare its weight to other power banks, but this one is not lightweight. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the quality and benefits of this power bank. It is very handy to have charged in case of power outages.

Small speaker with big sound. The plus is the power bank for charging items. Nice size for carrying.
